Peeps, Im trying to sort out some of the wiring issues with my defi control panel/ gauges and the Blitz Turbo Timer. Having some issues now with the wiring harness with the T/Timer. Has any one got fitting instructions in a PDF file or similar so i can make sure everything is going where its supposed to, or alternatively, is anyone around tomorrow to give me a hand. Cheers Nick

the suppliers of my new turbos are going to tap&drill the housing for my egt sensor, but they need to know the size! Is there a way of measuring bolt/thread sizes, I'm vaguely aware of different standards too? I've looked at a couple of places online and have measured the tpi (18) and that it's 1/2" in diameter (thread tip to thread tip). What else do I need?

3 out of the 4 connections that hold the braided hose on my oil cooler have corroded and cracked! :eek: Where's the best place to get replacements? Thanks...

If anyone has one, could you answer a small question? When you go into VTC solenoid check, does the small green light illuminate?

just got all the problems sorted and then dread water leak in car heater rad do the they give trouble or is it presure in the head gaskett any help

Where can i find/buy a front splitter? one that will bolt on to the bottom off the original bumper, ive seen a few nice ones that im interested in but cant seem to remmember where. Thanks

ok finally had the chance to get the car jacked up to investigate my water leak problem. when open the rad cap there's no water in there. pour a pint in, and its dripping out straight away (well after about 10 secs) from beneath the engine. narrowed it down to behind the top pulley, where the two rad pipes go into the top of the engine, i can see a thin stream of water drip onto the arm of the top pulley, about 5cm back from the pulley itself. any idea what this could be? a hose or gasket? or something worse :(

right, since i had my wide arch cnversion ive had noariel, i smoothed it over not wanting a fookin tent pole sticking out of my arches, but now as im getting it ready to sell i need some ariel options, the only one i can come up with is the silly shark fin tye they put on BMW's, does anyone know of any in car ariel that i could hide away, or does anyone have any idea's, ive got that little in car phone ariel stuck to my rear qauter window, i was wondering if i could modify that to work idea's please, only serious ones though

Hi all i never new this site existed :nana2: right ive had and got a couple of problems with my zx non turbo, ill start at the simplest first, any help would be great, here goes. 1, when i have the heaters set to 40 no heat comes from any of the blowers apart from the ones at your feet, but it doest blow that much or that hot, all the others are cold. is this normal? i had to take it off the road over winter becauseit was just to cold in there. 2, how do you get the cruise control to work? ive tried everthing, i even tryed sweet talking her, but that didnt help and heres the biggy and i feel so ashamed 3, one of my coilpacks went…

Well, spent a little on the Zed recently as sold some crap i had accumulated from other projects. Fitted the 99 spec rear lights......not keen on the red '300zx' light panel so staying with the original one. Love the look. Also trial fitted my new (secondhand) alloys today. Set of 18" Rays Payton Place Knight Marquis (9J & 8J). 2 tyres shot but all getting rebooted after refurb. Going for slightly off white spokes and keeping the polished deep dish. Sits high as its on wrong size tyres, oh and also needs lowing anyway....especially with these on. Refurb commences in the morning :nana2: :hyper:

i have a cobra alarm on my zed and I, or should i say the stupid woman i live with has lost my spare remote along with the little immobilsor key, i can't see any serial numbers on the original cos they've worn off over the years, does anyone know of a way to get another 1, i'm not bothered about gettin it recoded cos she's told me she lost them over a year ago, if it makes any difference its the tear drop shaped fob with 2 grey buttons on it(the same type loads of people have) many thanks, Chris.

I have just bought another 300zx twin turboto drive whilst i work on my other one. However it has a couple of problems i need to fix although car drives ok. The car sometimes revs on its own sometimes at 1500rpm sometimes more and i have no idea why. Also if i give car a big boost loads of smoke (oil smoke) comes out the battery side of the engine not sure where from, someone told me there is a breather down there that gets blocked but i'm not sure?
