Hi all, I have a few questions hoping some of you may have some answers for me ;) A mate of mine is breaking his R33 vspec and im going to fit his Brembo calipers front and back on my zed and would like to get sum meaty discs to go with them. what is the biggest size disc i can fit? Also does anyone know or fitted wheels off a GTR to a zed. If so are they the right fitment? They are Rays volks 18" @ 9.5j Thanks Dan

Hi, As you can probably see, im pretty new here (relatively speaking), and have been casually looking at 300ZX's for around 15 months. Ive given up on the idea of a mint TT silver SWB car with black leather! Ive only seen one. Also LWB might be a tad more practical. so.. Silver, black leather, low milage, etc etc... Ceejay, I owe you a massive apology. The car was due in to your place for an oil service and thermostat fitting today, littl 'un wasnt well and been that busy I completely forgot about it, not an excuse I know. I will glady make restitution to you if you have turned down work. Many apologies once again.

I know the door cards, skins, lock, handles, inges. trims and mirrors swap over but can you swap the pillar on the back of the door and the glass so a 2+2 door would then fit on a SWB. If I had the door with the card off etc I wouldn't need to ask this question, but as i don't I am. If you know what i mean.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to brian for all the help i received on friday.He sold me a set of standard wheels with new tyres which where it top condition for a great price.He also while i was there was good enough to run a conzult on the z which showed up my only problem to be a lasy o2 sensor.This favour alone gives you peace of mind just to know how your car is really running.I also had my first ride a turbo z.God that car is fast.had to stop on the way home to use a pub toilet.My only problem now is i'll have to sell my na and get a twin turbo.And to top it all his wife makes the best cup of tea.I am now begining to see what a great commuity this site has, so i'll…

how hard is it to change the hand brake cable?? and tighten it??

Im getting ready to fully service my Zed and have bought the comma 5w30 semi synthetic oil. Is this to thin?? engne has done approx 65 -70 K not sure of previous oil used ect.

Hi i drove the zed quite hard today pulled up fine ,went to start again 1 min later and loads of steam came out of the passenger side windscreen scuttle followed by a smell of burning antifreze and maybe a cup full of antifrezze on the floor waited till it cooled down and its driven fine since no leaks etc .Any ideas thanks taff.

Where can I purchase the rebuild kits fr the zed turbo's, I emailed Melett, but all they did was advise against doing it.

Ok as mentioned before the gearbox drone is the same as it was and it deffinately the auto-box. Just had to use it to goto Citizens Advice Bureau (which was not open) to see what actions i can take against this man who sold me the car. Whats the best stuff to put on the oil stains on me drive way. since the zed is having its leak fixed nows the best time to soak it up with something. something household would suit, dont fancy buying anything really, im not that keen.

Just catching up on checking out what new cars are available after seeing a Volvo C30, looked quite nice!! The specs are good, 0-60 in 6.2 secs. Does anyone else think that the world has gone mad when a Volvo has better specs than a 300ZX TT (stock)!!!! I guess thats the price you pay when you own a 15 year old car! Not to worry. Started the car for the first time today, since Zedfest last September. Had to pop to the local Tyrespot for a replacement battery. Noticed that the idle is very high (1100-1200) and it's running as rich as fook.......stinks of petrol. Any ideas on a quick fix...or could it be one of a thousand things? LOL Is it because she hasn't been used for 6 months and maybe needs a good run out?

I'd like to get a sports clutch and lightened flywheel for my Z. Looking around there are various types at very differing prices. I'm on a real budget with the turbo work etc etc, so if anyone has any ideas on the cheapest place to buy a set or even if they have a set to sell I would be very interested.

Looks like I'm gonna need new turbo's, thanks to everyone for your help and advice. I'm looking to buy a decent boost controller for when I fit the new turbo's. Can anyone recommend one, or have you got one for sale I don't want to spend silly money on one as the tubs are gonna be costing me enough been looking on ebay and there are a few for sale. Some however don't say they can go on a 300zx but when I look at other sites that sell them they look like the exact same product. What would be a good product to go for? :confused: Would this one do? Ebay item boost controller Or this one? Boost controller I don't want to spend more than £200 max…

Good day to all :bow: well let me say a big thank you to recho for coming over to help help me out with this boost problem that have at the moment :headvswal ...so we coulnt connect the computer to the ecu which means that we couldnt find out what the problem was!!! anyway ,,after recho took the car for a spin it turns that the car is in safty boost so!!! can someone please tell me what to do to cert this problem out :nelson: thank you all as always :headvswal

What is the best choice of plugs for a ZX TT with: Induction kit Std exhaust system - non-decat Chipped ECU I normally use the BK iridiums, but just thought i'd check what most people use... Thx Lee

Before i go and spend £600 with Nissan on targa rubbers and door rubbers, does anyone have any really good rubber seals available for the targas, door rubbers with the clips. Cheers Graham
