Anyone ever fitted top feed injectors to thier zed?? I know they require custom fuel rails and such ...just wondering if its ever been done.

Hi As you can see from my post count I'm new to this forum, but not to 300 ownership. For the past 4 years I've owned a Jap import Z32 TT auto. I've now started a bit of a project with her & as a result I've got some bits I can't identify & was hope you could help me out. 1 2 3 They're all from the passenger footwell with the engine ECU. I think they might be something to do with the HICAS, auto box, or A/C. The car is a import Z32 300zx twin turbo with the auto box that has the 3 different modes. I hope you don't mind that my 1st post is asking questions. Any help would be greatfully received.

Buying some new brake pads on eBay, just a quickie, are the TT and N/A the same front and back?

White K300 *** Spotted this morning, 8.30 (ish) on Astley Lane approaching junction of A642 Wakefield Road in Swillington.

Anybody know which one this might be? ive got a recipt for it in my history but im not sure which it is, just says stage 2. The clutch is pretty stiff to engage and kind of on/off. Thanks Joe.

Just got the zed back from the garage where it had a 60k service. I had bought all the parts myself all I paid them for was labour and a couple of litres of antifreeze. Oh, they also checked out my actuators/wastegates were operating properly. They were working, so to stop the overboosting they disconnected the EBC. So now I am back to safety boost! Guess how much that cost me?

He doesnt want to break the car and says had an offer for £600 from a bloke in scotland. I'm gonna bid upto about £250, sell maf etc on the make the cash back. But just wondering if there is anyone who would want to chip in for the box out of it etc? Its not worth £600, £400 tops taking into account the time to break it etc. Might get some money back for the tailgate etc

Just had a mate over and to achieve 15 degrees on his car the CAS had to be at the end of it's adjustment! Rattling my brain, I can only think of these reasons: Cambelt out a notch. Temp Sender Faulty (didn't come up as a fault on the conzult) CAS faulty Any other takers?

If I order £400+ worth of gear from Z1 in the states, will i have to pay anything other than the goods and postage?

Hi All, I bought a cheap short shifter off Ebay some months ago and put it away whilst the engine and box were out of the car. Problem is I've now come to fit it and it won't split into it's constituent 3 sections - top section comes off but the bottom and mid sections are well and truly stuck together. As it is I can't fit it into it's 'pivot mount'. I've tried heat, mole grips etc but nothing will shift it - I've made a bit of a cosmetic mess of it now! Anyone come across this before? Any suggestions how I gould get a better grip of the mid section? I've been back to the seller who hasn't been particularly helpful. Cheers for any help. RobH

I have just bought my 1st 300zx on saturday. It is an import manual twin turbo. But with it being an import that is where the problem is! It came to saturady night and when i switched the lights on only 2 out of the 4 came on. One of the main driving light bulbs is out and one of the side lights is out that is in the bumper. I have spend a whole day driving from garage to garage to get some bulbs and not one of the places has even seen one of the bulbs i pulled out, never mind know where to get one. Im from Sunderland in the north east and it would be much appreciated if anyone could let me know where to get 2 light bulbs from. Thanks.

ive just been fitting my stereo and up under the dash is a black box , looks to me like a alarm or immobliser its has the nissan logo with MPT 1340 on it , does anyone know what it is? thanks wayne

Peeps, Ive got a very odd problem with my cooling system. It APPEARS to be too efficient. I think i'm right in that the quoted number by nissan for the running temp of the engine is mid 80's degrees C. Now at motorway cruising speed (70 - 75 mph), the car is only getting up to 70c, and the oil temp is only getting to 80c. These reading are being taken from Defi gauges with the appropriate aftermarket sensors, so at the moment ive got no reason the disbeleive the gauges Now the problem with this is that, being a fooking cold time of year, the heater barely gets luke warm, so im freezing my ass off inside the car. the other concern i have is that the oil isnt…

Just bought some leatherette to do the bottom half of the door cards. What glue have you used to do yours? What prep work did you do on the tweed, did you just glue straight onto it? How is it a few months later? Cheers Ed

went for a evening test drive to see how all my parts are working. WOW its slippy was really fun. went sideways round a few known roundabouts, then went to my local homebase car park which is locked up but coz the zed is so low it fit right under the barriers woohoooo, i did a few donuts made some smoke and went home. haha i was suppose to be going out to get some munchies for the film we just bought, but whoops i forgot me wallet so i come back empty handed haha The drive was really fun didnt wanna come home. Am i the only nutter here or do some of you lot do the same sometimes?

I have been looking at a ZX to buy. The seller wants 8k for it which makes it the most expensive one I've seen so far. The car is in great condition inside and out, and is apparently, and I mean apparently, running 600bhp. It has nismo everything I am told. Firstly how do i prove this and secondly is that a good price? It is gorgeous, no pics though. I think its been shown on here before though. Cheers!

He had a small peice of metal fling in his eye. ouch. he is in hospital at the mo and all the garage work is on hold. my car was suppose to go in yesterday to have me oil leak fixed but thats on hold now. This is my Get well soon message. hope he is ok and makes a speedy recovery..... so that i can get me car fixed hehe.

Hi all im thinking of putting bigger alloys on my car and dont know if to have 18 or 19, whats the best size and max i can have on front and rear, will 19's make the ride crap? many regards
