Is it poss to fit 2 instrument pods in the box directly under the radio ,ie oil & w/temp

Just when ive finally got it all working, went to take the dog out just now, and noticed that my paassenger full beam light is on.??????????? If i turn ignition on, or off the bloody light is still on. Have done the usual hitting the pod, and wiggle the indicator stalk, but nothing. Had to disconnect the battery so its off for now. Why is its messing about and how can i sort it. Stu

Hey just got me a new 90 TT automatic had it for about a month now with 66km on clock legit (i hope). For the last few weeks sometimes when its cold in drive its been going to about 3-4k revs before changing gear but a few days ago it just gave out on me and wouldnt move, the HiCAS light is permantly on and since it gave out its been smoking like hell any ideas would be a big help Thanks Billz

last 2 days, ive gone for short drives. each time started, took 2 goes to start (usually fires first time) when started, smelt bit petrolly (dont know if thats coz id been pressing the gas pedal) when started was a bit lumpy, and idle was hunting. but each time after the car drove cleared up and was fine. today coming home, accelarator was a bit boggy, then as was parking heard a whinning noise coming from the back of the car? turnd off the car. tried starting back up, and it wont fire. when i turn the ignition on, sometimes can hear the fuel pump whine for 2 seconds (as normal) and sometimes i turn the ignition on and it doesnt make a sound…

One thing after another, after another, after another! ok so something else im gunna need some advise on, i pulled my seatbelt out the other day and now it doesnt go back in, it is all the way out now and clicked around each time i pulled it! So im guessing the ratchet mechanism thing that would usualy pull a seatbelt out has now broke too!! What are my options?? Any advise is more than welcome! Thanks Everyone!

OK so i have put some lovely little signs in my rear quarter windows each saying FOR SALE! I didnt think the car would appretiate this so when i put my key into the door to lock it the Lock barrel has gone!!!!! Thats right i dont know how or why but i cant lock my drivers door, so the missus has the lovely job of locking mine then getting out and i then lock hers! So wot can i do??!! I know one thing, get a new barrel, but does this mean i have to change the locks on all the doors glovebox boot etc??!!!! Or is there a nice easy way to de-lock my car?? One problem after another,,, the zed is slowly killing me..... just managed to fix the drivers door window,, as it didnt open,,, turned out to be the black box,, so whacking it a few times and then tapping the wires hard into the connector have seemed to fix that issue.. but now my rear lights have gone... My rear normal lights are have both gone off, bulbs are fine, fuses in main fuse box and fuse box near accelerator are all fine,,, all checked no problem there brake lights working and indicators still working,, headlamps etc still working just rear lamps. Hi guys, Just had the worst week ever, my missus left me after 5 years and dumped me by text, and i got my first bunch of stars on my license. what a crap week. Could anything else go wrong!? It did, I replaced the hoses for my engine->bulkhead that are the feeds for my heater matrix, i thought that the leak had ceased. brilliant! uh oh, i was wrong :( Theres still a leak coming from the rear centre of the engine bay, lower down from the matrix feeds. its so in-accessible that i cant even see the leak, just the water pissing from its location. Im guessing, its one of the turbo coolant hoses. How on earth Can i swap this out? I cant even see …

Hi All! Well finally got the car back after is repray and it looks the nuts! Problem now is it takes ages to heat up properly, even longer with the heater on, and lets face it, heater is a must cos of winter coming. Basically it was diagnosed as the thermostat last year and I have a new one ready to fit, only problem is, I dont know who as I am crap mechanically and I cant afford to pay a garage as my divorce has and is costing me an absolute fortune. Is there anyone in Nottingham or close by that can help me do it one Saturday? Thanks guys.

I have now managed to get rid of most of the problems with the new setup... What I would like to know about is: The A/F base reading in datascan showes 110 at idle when warm. When driving it can jump from 80 to up to 125. I thought it was supposed to be 100 all the time???

I just fitted 2 Blitz BOV's I got recently but the only time I hear them is under real hard acceleration, I would have thought with the boost climbing under most conditions they would vent in some way or form. I see from the previous owners posts he had issues with the car stauling and I see one of the adjusting screws was loose like they have been adjusted, anyone ever adjusted Blitz BOV's and if so how much thread is showing on the adjuster screws? Hello folks. Currently trying to remove the spoiler from the 300zx that i purchased, i undone the bolts holding it in place but yet it would not move, was just wondering if they are glued on or what? Any bonnet stops for sale anyone??:)

Where would everyone reccommend i take the zed to get a few engine issues etc sorted?? I started it up yesterday and it seemed a little smokey, now the previous owner hadnt driven in ages so i dont know whether it needs fixing or just running?? Someone did mention something about 'turbo seals'?? Im also wanting it to be serviced etc and generally looked after before i put it on the road. Cheers, Bradley

Hi, On my old clock set in my 1990 Jap TT auto I had the common speedo not working/power steering problem. I got a set of 300kph nismo clocks, but when i plug them in absolutely nothing works, yet when i put in my old set, the rev counter/boost/temp all work. Anyone got any ideas on what to do next. The clocks were working when AndyZ took them out of the car he had. Cheers.
