Iv got a greddy 2 controller an I would love it if someone could let me know the correct settings to have, like Hi boost and Low boost mode, what % gain in Hi and Low boost mode and what warning amount to imput. Cheers guys!

Well i decided after my springs had been fitted for a couple of months that i would fit all my adjustable stuff and get it all set up correctly :D So yesterday i spent the day at my friends garage fitting my powertrix front upper arms, tension rods, rear caster arms and the rear camber arms (i think thats what they're called, lol). Anyway my friend has been a mechanic for 50 years and it shows, he had it done in no time even with me slowing him down, LOL. Anyway today i googled 4-Wheel laser alignment and found a garage in Bootle about 40 mins away from me. ive been looking through some of the pics in members rides and noticed some of you have vented nose pannels, i like the look of them but was wondering if it causes any problems when it rains and the maf or filters get wet?

hi all just wondering if anyone has used a (ADL) oil filter before and what ur opinion's are on them? i couldn't find a local stockist for a wix filter:nono: , most local to me only either have the above or (fram:rant: ) having not heard of ADL any opinions on them would be gr8 thanks ck300z:)

Anyone had windscreen changed on thier z and found the new one was the wrong size? Glass man just spoken to says that 9 times out of 10 different tints are different sizes slightly and can change from year to year. Now I dont think the z32 body changed at all but could be wrong. Anyone ever had autoglass etc bring them a z32 (not z31 or z33 durr) screen and it be slightly wrong?

Can you all guess what im saying??? Thats right, Today Phil is planning to start the engine providing all goes well. I spoke to him today and he started telling me where he's at (ran off a huge list of what was done lol) and all I can say is wow:shock: The guys seems to work so dam hard:bow:, He set aside this week to start working hard on the car. Getting Excited now:hyper: Just got to hope all continues to go well really and then hopefully it'll get done this week.:D:nana2: Anyway, just thought i'd share:smash:

Ok it has now come to the time that I really need to replace the tubs. I have someone in mind to do the work, because I have lack of time and space. The question is what tubs to fit and where to purchase from, any comments would be welcome. Allan

hi people i have an aftermarket steering wheel with no controls on the steering wheel. i have stumbling/hesitation issues at the moment, and was wondering.... i have re-routed the horn wires to a seperate button on the dash, which works o.k., while doing this i cut some of the wires, am guessing they were cruise control etc. which i thought were the horn wires, but were not, and did not reconnect them. would this affect the running of the car... i.e. resulting in stumbling/hesitation? cheers, al.

hi all just wonderin if anyone can help me on this one? i have read on here that people are boosting averagely 14 psi is that on stock tubs? i have an original boost gauge and it goes up to 7 yet the needle only ever reaches 4? im no mechanic, if anybody knows why this could be could you explain in laymans terms please. thankyou:confused::confused:

Was any members in port talbot today? I saw a very smart yellow zed pass my home ( would have seen our baby outside) it had black,n, chrome alloys & ferrari style rear lights, very very nice zed:shock: first one ive seen down gere for ages:)

I have started stripping my car, it is quite interesting, but not having a huge amount of knowledge about zeds I have come across a few parts which I am unsure what they are. I have attached pics of two boxs that were behind the rear qtr panels, also what are the three rads infront of the engine for? The one nearest the engine is the normal radiator, but then there is a smiliar sized one infront of that and then a smaller one infront at the front of the car, I presume the front small one is the oil cooler? but what is the middle rad? Can anyone help identify them for me?

Hello. Do any of use have atmospheric "swoosh" dump valves in a twin turbo around a 1993 model? I am looking to install some atmospheric ones to my car but i am not to sure what ones to get, there is RS ones from the USA, but then there is also the DV26 Bailey dump valves, i am not sure what ones to get and was wondering if any of you lads and ladies have any good suggestions and price they should cost? I have just put the engine back in with a manual box and I am not sure if I have a bolt missing. It is at the very bottom of the box bolting (would be 6 o'clock position) it to the engine, it is at least a inch longer than the others, should there be one there or not as there are ones at 5 + 7 o'clock postions?

edit : its ok, sorted now.

Me again I noticed the other day that i'm getting some smoke coming up from the back of the engine drivers side, anyway ive had a look and it seems there a bolt slack, the down pipe to turbo by the 02 sensor, now its the top one you can see by looking down by the brake booster, how the hell do you get on that little bugger, is it better from underneath and do you need a thin wall socket to get it.

Hello Chaps I know theres a link somewhere that tells you how to do this, but i cant find it, so if someone can send me the link or better still tell me the best way to do it, that'd be great. I cant remember which pins you have to put the meter on to get your 0.5/0.45 volts????? Just renewed mine as a matter of course really, now ive got 2000rpm on start up. oh and another thing, just changed the plugs and the ones that came out are a pfr6J, thats the wrong plug isnt it, because ive put in 6B-11b and theres a marked difference in the length of the threaded part of the plug!!!!!!!!! Hi does anyone have any information on the 300zx v6 N/a Camshaft & Cylinder Head diamention, camshaft lift, camshaft duration, Valve lift data and standard power and torque curves are needed for a project i'm doing on a Nissan P35 race car using the 3.0 v6 engine.
