Hi All Does anyone know anything about the iezura Tensioner Bearings being sold on Ebay? They are described as equal to or exceeding OEM specs- is this to be trusted and has anyone used these products? Prices are tempting.. Any help appreciated. Regards Dave

Having emigrated to Malaysia in April and taken my zed over, decided to get the interior done. The old black leather was beginning to show its age so took it to an interior retrimmer. Seemed to be a good outfit with samples of their work at the premises. All in the job took 3 days. They retrimmed the seats and panels in italian cream leather with black stitching. I`m very impressed with the results and the cost was about £480. Similar job would cost 2-3 times that in the UK.

does anyone have a guide or photos of the det sensor bypass inside the car ecu side.. i have had the resistor for over a week now.. but was going to get a boost controller and gauge.. unfortunately credit crunch has put a stop to that :( cheers

Is there anyother way of getting the bottom pulley off without using a pulley tool.

To my knowledge the erg is a filter box to get rid of exhaust gases or unburnt petrol fumes that go threw a filter and some back to engine and some back to exhaust ,ok if thats right then ok but the first time i had smoke comming out my exhaust i was told to check out the pcv systems .ok it turns out it was my tubs but the point of this thread is are the pcv and the erg one of the same???????? ;)

Dont know whats its called but i bet you dont need it on this over engineered car .its a black box round and has loads of breather/vacume pipes comming of it ans seats behind front bumper under nearside head light

Ive sent my car to andy's to get fixed and need to get these other bits asap. Ive been told to look on z1motorsports but by the time ive paid for shipping, import tax and vat, surely it would be quicker to get the stuff from england?? Ive got large hexagonal nuts (:nelson:) that keep the hub/cover on and the spanner is a plastic ring spanner but it doesnt fit. Ive been round all the local places and they dont know where to get these spanners. The nut is 75mm across and the only spanners ive seen are 60mm and 80mm. Any idead where i can get one??

My tension rod bushes were absolutely mullered and the price of new bushes seem to have rocketed, so I searched US Ebay and came up with some rose bearing typr arms, just $49 plus $46 postage to UK, and no import duty ?? Well today the sun was shining and I fitted them. Not as straight forward as I thought they would be due to the FMIC pipework, but still only took a couple of hours. Hopefully they will never need changing again, they also look quite funky as well.

I spotted a black Z with oragne rear lights go past my garage at about 5:30 today, was it you?

On such a nice sunny day, where were you??? Julia and I took a trip out in the Z today, visiting Bodiham and Scotney Castles. All round the south M25 and down the A21 and we didn't see one 300zx. Plenty of 350zs though........:rolleyes: In fact the only 300zx we saw was when we got near home, at Amersham........:wack: Richard;)

As above, around 4.15 this afternoon........ I saw a red UK spec on the A404 coming from the Wycombe direction at the roundabout where it meets the A413. It was turning right towards Amersham/London. I was in the red ZX coming from Amersham turning right onto the A413towards Aylesbury. Anyone? Richard:cool:

Hi all (firstly as im sure u already know my mechanic's skills are not the best ) but while checking my belts today to confirm the one thats needs adjusting I noticed a slight tapping noise coming from the engine , now ive not noticed this with the hood closed so hopefully that should give a idea of loudness' as soon as i noticed it i tried to pin point and it seems to be coming from directly under the centre of the plastic cover over Plenums (i know that's pretty vage):wack: However the noise does increase to a degree in rate with engine rev im thinking valves etc but praying it's not:bow: any advice would be appreciated - Tha…

Hello Currently looking to improve the car so was hoping to find some parts, These parts are needed for a 1993 300zx twin turbo jap import I am looking for; Dump valve Boost gauge front bumper, like the one andrei is advertising on the zx for breaking, or a custom one with decent ground clearence. high level spoiler Targa roof rubbers bonnet stops Silicone hoses for engine, trying to make it look nicer underneath I think that is all.lol. After owning my zed for a few months now ive finally got all the little problems sorted. Now iam ready to start modifying her, so where should i start. Its a pretty much standard tt the only modifications are 19inch rims and a blitz sonic power induction kit and thats it. Any advice from you zedders would be great:hyper:
