Hey Folks! How´s everyone? I am Planning to buy 2 rear tires on my z, actually I have 2 Yokohama Advan sport but they need to be changed..Yokohama is kind a´expensive and I think the drive is not as good, despite this..I am fitting a 255/40 RZ17 94Y and that size is not available on Yokohama. So the question is... what tires you would strongly Recommend me that goes Good with the Z? I checked on http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tire-brand.jsp and each tire has a good and bad score..some people tell me that Falken is very good..some other´s tell me that I should go for some Dunlop..so now I am somehow confused..so as always 300ZX UK Forum is the most experienced on t…

This is a bit of a long story -- but i need to get all the details out to get an accurate diagnosis -- part one -- after sitting for six months my car 1990 Z32 2+2 has a bit of steering wheel chatter when braking lightly -- not with firm braking -- have the 3K brembo big brake kit -- part two -- after driving quite fast (45 mph) threw water i did not see on the road the power steering seemed to disappear -- drove like a tank (like when your steering knuckle is bad) -- went to local mechanic -- i was suspecting the speed sensitive connector on the rack might be loose after the impact with the water -- went to a local mechanic -- drove it into the bay -- I play with the con…

I have been adding pieces of info and links gradually within the faq section and instead of putting up links to various sources of info that may disappear over time or photo's that might not appear for whatever reason, i am trying to create as much relevant Z32 information in pdf file format as possible. This takes a little time and I will be uploading as it becomes available. If anyone has any How To's, manuals or instructions they think would benefit other members, either pm with info or a link and i can create a pdf file containing the relevant info. Or Post up in a thread. Eventually i would like to have as many tech guides, links and info updates …

i know since you all read there is a problem with my autobox that im going to get loads of replies of just convert it. but really not got the money for that so hoping (although i prob know the answer) its just something simple. for the past few days the car wont go into 3rd gear when it tries to go into 3rd if u let the foot of the accelerator the revs will go right down then the engine cuts out. i checked the dipstick for gear oil (drivers side rear of engine am i right?) and it says its ok however it does look a little brown and i think its meant to be redish pink? and there are no shiny metal shavings or that in it. i ran the auto diagnostics last night and showed no e…

I bow to the Zed Gods and fellow Zeddies!! Im new to this forum, Ive cut a deal on a Zed TT its a 1992 model, I hope to collect her this coming sunday, its a long way away in devon but I will bring it out of the south west into the more intense southeast lands! Ive read as much as I can on the buying guides so hopefully will spot any issues (if Im awake enough when i eventually get there), this will be my second nissan, before I owned a RS4 Stagea which I enjoyed but sold cause of the mental fuel consumption (180miles per tank). Anyway if there is any advice you professionals can recommend regarding the first inspection and first projects to undertake on th…

If I bypass the pipes to the HICAS (so no pressurised fluid goes to the HICAS system) and short out the reservoir sensor (so it thinks the reservoir is empty and disables HICAS) will the HICAS wobble around? Just wondering what the effect of no pressurised fluid in the unit will have, as I am not planning to put in a HICAS eliminator - just fed up with all the leaks from the rusted pipes. Cheers, Darren.
