so! its on ebay its got the 18 inch bbs rims - anyone know any history on it? also in a strait line pound for pound there not as quick as the equivelant toyota supra are they? as the na supra weighs 1410kg and the na zx weighs 1610kgs altho we beat them in bhp by 2hp lol! or is it all paper figres and an NA zx would anialate an NA supra?

Hi, With the AFM and T piece removed, should the 2 pipes that the T peice attaches to have equal suction? On mine the passanger side one has a lot of suction and the engine almost stalls with my hand over it but the drivers side doesn't. Vijay

I've got my mind set on a zed but a few people have suggested to me a 3000gt or gto. I don't particularly like the look of the Mits (or should I say I much prefer the look of the zed). But what are they like to drive? I know the stats are similar for the TT models for performance but real world? Mike

I use a transit van everyday for work, each day i come home and see my zed sat on the driveway. Even if i have other things to do, i make some sort of excuse and put them off, it always lands up i take her out, even if its just a blip down the shops or just go out for a drive to unwind. Every day the zed goes out, each time i press the pedal, and it pulls away, it makes me smile, its nice to see other other people driving around and they seem bored and caught up in their own world and dull. jast got the car back from garage today after havin 2 turbos replaced oil n filter and clutch master and slave cylinder done.....car is smokin is ass off still however this cd be down to the gallons of oil still in my exhaust and manifold?...and car is now totally flat nothin at all....its like drivin a 1.0l micra could it be in limp mode? wat could the problem be?:mad::headvswal

Hi guys, My Zed is an Jap import and came with an Air Flow Resetter (I was told that it was an Air Flow Controller but it is labled as Air Flow Resetter) which has an on off switch and a controller... I googled all around and only got one hit from a forum saying but it is not confirmed. Can anyone tell me what this is and what it does? Mine is a N/A and I was told by Legrath in another thread to remove the Air Flow Controller since I have no advantage of it and will be causing running problems.:bow: Legrath if you are reading this is it the same with Air Flow Resetter? As some of you may have seen on one of my previous posts my zed has rotted and I am going to scrap it. I need to get rid as soon as possible as I don't have room to get the new car on the drive at the moment. I am going to keep the engine & gearbox for my next project, are there any other parts which I need to make sure I keep. I will be keeping all the obvious ones like lights seats etc, just wondering if any of the electrics etc inside are worth anything. Having never broken a car before is there a good order to start stripping things? How long does it normally take? My car is a LWB and will be looking at a SWB for the engine to fit into so some…

Iv just got a H3 xenon kit but iv got those silly H3c candle bulbs in at the min. Does anyone know how to wire the kit up? im guessing that you wire up the earth to something but im not good with electrics! Also The space behind the headlight is only good for a elfs hand so is it a case of taking the light out? if so HOW? I cant see how to do it inless I take my bumper off. Thanks!

Hi, i have been looking into why my TT zx has started to smoke from passenger sode exhaust slightly, blue/white. also revs stick at 1500 sometimes when warm, turn ignition off/on and sometimes cures it. I was looking round engine bay and any idea why this hose is removed and blanked and what its supposed to be connected to ? could it have anything to do with the problem ? I have owned the car about 18monts and has been pretty much trouble free. Thanks

Ive got a 1990 import auto turbo zed and was wondering what the button for next to the clock in fron of the gear lever ( has a picture of a turbo on it ) does, ive been told by someone that it makes the openings to the tubo wider or smallar? just after a definate answer as to what it does as it doesn't seem to effect anything what ever setting its in ( and yes the switch is connected ).... much appreciated........

I am thinking of buying either aem, nistune or zemulator. What would the z people recommend and why? (I need to run 2maps. One for fuel and one for e85.) Going to have a tuningshop map the car. They recomended a ems system since i am going to run on e85 with the mods that i have done.

Hi, I have got to present my zed to the DVLA on Friday so they can check VIN number. Only problem is I can't find it and it isn't where I expected or where I've been advised. It's a '90' J spec and if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be really appreciated. A picture would be best if that was possible. Hope someone can help :confused:

Ive statred to get a knock from the rear suspension on bumpy roads i think its the rear lower shock bushes, my teins have been on 3 years now .I think the teins being so hard have finally killed the bushes are these avalible in poly on there own as nearly all the rear have been polybushed aready.Unless its something complety diffrent the tops mounts are rosejointed thanks taff.:)
