Hi, I'm trying to sort out some wing mirrors for someone and have found 3 different types of connectors, 3,5 and 7 wires to 3 different types of connector block. I thought the only difference would be UK/Jap but does anyone know for sure what's what? Vijay

Hi just wondered, has anyone an idea on how many zeds are still on UK roads. I see from the forums that a number are being broken for spares. The few that remain will I expect start to become even more wanted by fellow z heads?

Hi, Soon hopefully with abit of luck my engine should be fitted soon:headvswal Im hoping for around 500 :) With the high powered zeds on the site, I was wondering if people can tell me how the Zed copes with traction? Do you have trouble with the wheels spinning at high speeds? Also can you still get a good start with out sitting on the spot? The reason im asking is because i went out in my mates evo6 which is now running 590bhp @520lbs of torque. Being 4wd i didnt expect all four wheels to spin which they did making the car just hover all over the road like it has a mind of its own. Im thinking the Zed being rear wheel drive its going to be…

I get home and after banging my head against the wall with the lights. Decide to start on the stellas. Then Sussex Bills Turns up, after the advice i gave him re his Hicas level, in his zed, very clean grey one, Clean a few connectors to try and sort the revving out and some other advice. Seems ok now. Then after he leaves, Atlast, Sean turns up in his white N/a. A coffee and zed chat later. Two more fellow zedders and all Sussex boys................... I think they have got the zed bug. Good to see you guys, youre more than welcome at mine, if i p*** the neighbours off, thats there fault for letting me move in..lol

I never cease to be amazed by these cars.. I have recenetly (yesterday) taken a 1993 twin turbo auto in part exchange against my wide-arch manual TT, its got a chipped ecu & boost controller.. I cannot believe how rapid it is!! I've always thought I would only ever want manual zeds, and that's all I've had until now (TT & NA), but I've changed my mind.. These auto's are amazing.. The pick-up is outstanding.. And kick-down is awsome.. GREAT fun to drive :) V E R Y ... I M P R E S S E D

help?? hi everyone i have recently joined this group, i own a 1990 swb manual tt producing around 350bhp so its pretty standard i think. it was imported ive had a bigger rad and intercooler fitted, refurbed turbos with 360 ball bearings which was done about a month ago. the car feels sluggish low down until i hit 5000rpm, so i am considering putting in a jwt ecu which ive been told will help give me more bhp plus improve fuel consumption coz shes running a little rich at the moment, and i can smell petrol when i start her up and the revs sit high even when warm. but someone else told me i can remap the standard ecu? is this possible? if it is shall i just remap standard e…

I've just insured my car with footman james, got a great deal! They have sent me the paperwork and a form for an agreed valuation. I put the value of my car at £2500, probably a bit low. I need someone to look at the car, either a car club official(anyone near me?) restorer, valuer or specialist dealer. Anyone know anyone i can get to have a look?

Hiya, Has anyone on here ever split the OE BBS split-rim wheels and put wider lips on? Or if anyone has any pics I'd be grateful to see them (specifically the Z32 BBS RS wheels, I've got lots of pics of RSs on VWs, etc.) I vaguely remember Strosek (spelling!?) cars using them under their wide arch kit. Thanks :)

Hi all, Ive just bought a new engine loom for my car to fit with the new engine. Does anyone know the difference between a Auto loom and a Manual as i didnt know till now that there is a difference. I thought Nissans would of just made 1 loom like most manufacturers I just looked on the Z1 site and theres a Manual and Auto version! If the loom i bought is for a Auto can i still use it for my manual?? Cheers Dan
