Another one, not sure many will be able to help unless with the car but after adding the metalwork back to car after cleaning I decided to start it and it wouldn't turn over or anything...then the alarm went off and the only way to stop it was to put my foot on the brake. Its now stuck on the drive in Park, with the battery off charging, just in case, although it was at 12.2V when read which should be sufficient to not cause these issues...right? Might have to call the auto electrician on this one, especially of I cant get it off the drive! Zany suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Steve

Hello everybody! I was just thinking about Nec Last year where we had a visit with Christophe on our trip to UK... One year already, and months running faster year after year! I will not have a visit this year, but I am still having a look here occasionally for my pleasure to see that the club is so active! We had Spa Classic in Belgium as planned mid May: Very nice meeting and track sessions that I ran with the white caged 300TT. This winter, we had a work session with specialists from the french 300 ZX TT group, and I fitted the new clutch to hold the 500 Bhp. Perfect job that achieved the target, and I also implemented an aluminium transmission arm as…

Alright.. as some of you may know my car has been smoking from the drivers side. It's more or a white with a hint of blue colour. Knowingly blue is oil so I have deleted the PCV valves and plumed It all up to a catch can. The car is still smoking but could this be left over oil from the PCV valves? Hoping this will fix it as I will struggle to afford turbo seals or piston rings etc... So my question is... how long if it was the PCV valves take for the smoke to subside? Thankyou

This is my new project which will be arriving next week. It's a 1993 na slicktop factory manual. I'm buying it from Baz who has already done a lot to it. The plan is to get it straight to Lee Dent so he can get it running when he gets time. Also need a couple of rust spots on the body work sorting. Then hopefully I can get to a few track days in it next year. Long term plan is to TT it or maybe even a v8 but just want to have some fun with it for now. Still looking for an na diff & swb prop.

Now then everyone, first of all i'm new to this forum and new to the world of the 300ZX, so let me excuse my lack of knowledge to start with (not a complete novice, pretty handy with spanners, hammers.. well especially hammers..) The car i'm asking about is a 1993 TT Auto, with a few mods, including an apexi boost controller and afm enrichment, which I do not fully understand, but have a good idea of I have searched and searched for this issue i'm having and so far drawn a blank. I've seen a few posts and threads that are similar, but none quite cutting the mustard. The problem I have with mine is it will sometimes fire straight up but mainly it will take a…

I have a spare sub frame that I'm going to get powder coated and swap the bushes out for new Poly ones. Looking at the various "How to's" on the subject. would those of you who have done this recommend getting the new poly bushes that come with the outer sleeve, like these form CZP? https://conceptzperformance.com/czp-subframe-sleeve-kit-w-energy-suspension-bushings-nissan-300zx-90-96-z32-55400-74102_p_3146.php It sounds like the worst part is actually cleaning the left over rubber off the outer sleeve, once the inner sleeve and rubber goo has been removed. (I was going to burn them out, as per the many videos on the net show) As an aside, has anyone here a…

Check this out on ebay 131975023954 TT Engine ..... This engine was running about 330 bhp and had good delivery -....... - occasionally under heavy boost it popped the dipstick was a good running engine Isn't that a sign of something serious. Pessurising the crank ?

Last week when I went down the parking garage I noticed 2 small tiny dents on my Z left drive door. that really frustrated my whole damn evening. Wanting to keep the Z stunning and clean some fu** a*+hole always has to ruin the cake. Anyhow, I asked the body shop abut how much it would cost to get them done and he said about 175 euros---but he also pointed out that if he re paints that door it usually never looks the same tone of colour when you look it closely on a sunny day. He just wanted to warn me about it. He also pointed out to re spray the whole car someday, but...man he charges 1.700 euros for the whole job including having to remove the rear spoiler etc etc…

As above really, just curious as to the main function/functions of the PTU. Is its main and only function the distribution of the power to the individual coil pack? or does it influence more than just this? Just asking, as I have recently discovered the bottom connection quite corroded, and have since cleaned all male and female connectors and re fitted. Could I anticipate any subtle difference in performance or daily driving etc for example?

A very common fault and if you want a new latch then it's £60 plus postage from the USA. So here is how I fixed mine. The plastic housing that holds the pin and spring breaks leaving the glove box unable to stay closed. The first job was to get a length of 6mm acrylic rod then drill a 2.5mm hole in it. This will hold the pin for the spring. Then using a round file I filed a grove where the acrylic pin holder would sit.

Gumtree link An interesting advert, to say the least... I had no idea that the LWB model was such a rarity in the Z32 world! Now, my Zed's no slouch, but I know for a fact that it WON'T keep up with an Audi R8 - I tried, believe me... Fairly local to me, this one.
