General Discussions - 300ZX Related

Hello, I've just bought a beautiful pearl white '95 N/A model. :D Brilliant in every way other than the drivers side indicator bulb is bust, and I'm not too keen on people pulling out on me on roundabouts. For my nissan 100nx it just involved unscrewing the front and the whole indicator pops out to allow access to the back of the lamp, is this the same? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

It's a long shot but does anyone have a chipped ECU lying around I could borrow? I can't get the car to start and after a chat to Jimmer he thinks my standard ECU and 740 injectors will just flood it and stop it starting. I just need to get it on tick over to check oil pressure etc after the rebuild and replumbing of the rads and air intake system. :bow:

Evening all.I am looking for the part number(s) for the rear decals on the hatch/spoiler,I have a jap TT and want to fit the black band that runs across the lower edge of the rear spoiler along with the Nissan Twin Turbo decals,If I go to my local dealer they wont be very helpfull unless I have the Nissan part numbers.Are these items still available from Nissan if so how much do they cost?:confused:

TT UK Manual 94. The last thing on the "to do" list is my dam O2 sensors, having sorted out the following issues since the last dyno. well i would like to someone local to me to drive my zed! when i owned my audi s6 i would have a comparison car to drive which my mate owned, so i basically knew if my ride was running as it should, i would also like to drive someone elses , auto ! anyone.i know its a long shot! just need a second opinion on how it drives. or how it should.

I like the look and feel of my standard rims and they are in great condition but was thinking they'd look better black. Any one got any ideas where/who does that and general cost? Cheers, Bob

Brought some decatts sometime ago but they have 3 bolt flange on the back part. finally got round to taking a pic.so here it is. fews bits done to zed since then ,i.e resprayed wipers and plastic thingy below windscreen . work in progress.need some bloody wheels .

We today I am going to crank the engine over to see if the oil pressure comes up ok :bow: If all goes well I am going to put the fuel pump fuse in and see if she starts, will be a little noisy as no exhaust but what the hell, can't wait any longer to see what happens! I only have mobile internet at the moment so will post pictures/video once BT/Sky pull their fingers out which should be at the end of the week.

dose any one know if you can still get a haynes manual or aquivelent? for the 300 1990 spec? :)

I know it's on a previous thread that the gearbox filler is on the side but is it drivers side with a plug that needs a 1/2" square socket to undo it? Also and tip on how to undo it if it's very tight as access is tight and can't quite get the socket in all the way.

Can someone please explain why the clutch slave cylinder has an extra loop in the fluid circuit, for the life of me I can't see the logic in it. It just makes bleeding the system more awkward without any advantage at all. Why, oh why ??

as soon as the gauge goes above 0 i get dettonation. anyone got an idea why? this is the readout on my apexi avc-r so the readout is correct.

Hi all When I do a balance test in Conzult its showing a drop of only 50 - 60 on cylinder 6. Any idea what might be wrong?
