Can anyone tell me if its a simple swap to replace the airbag steering wheel (which I dont really like) with the Series 1 wheel ? Thanks Mark

Anyone done this? Dont want to keep phoning Jeff as I know hes busy, and I need this doing asap now. Got the oil and a tube of HPLS transmission treatment. Is the diff different? Im presuming the diff is in the rear axle but the oil I have is mixed (75w/90) so can I use it for the diff too or is it somehow all linked up? Im hoping the gearbox oil change will quieten down my noisy drive. Any techniques to fill/ drain gearbox? Cheers

do you have too remove the turbo elbows to get the engine out or can you just undo the exhaust at the start of the catts??

Hi All , finally after 4 days ( which seemed like 4 months ) of waiting , i finally picked up my zed today . BUT ............ it has a number of issues , and i would really appreciate your help , as they hopefully will be simple fixes ( fuses etc ) , but the paranoia is getting the better of me ! . first up : its a jap import SWB manual twin turbo , and i initally presumed it had approx 55000 miles on the clock ( when i picked it up the odometer read 94000 , which i presumed was KM , this = approx 58000 miles ) but on the drive home the odometer changed every mile ! , 102 mile drive from liverpool to holyhead changed 102 on the odometer ! . the clocks …

Oki doki chaps when i pull off from a stand still sometimes i get this horrible squeal from the back which kid of sounds like a tyre squeal but it isnt!! (if that makes sense) Looking through the forums it seems it may well be my Diff is low on Oil! i have checked for leaks and found None :( Question 1. Which Diff oil should i get?? As you know, I wrote off my Silver Z:( I have got salvage rights on it so I have access to a good engine and gearbox, and just under £2000 in insurance money, plus whatever else I can sell on the silver one. If you were in my posision would you sell the engine and gearbox to make a bit more money, or buy a Z with engine problems??? I have the tools to remove and fit engines and anything else that need doing

Been looking at some us forums and it seems there adement that tt slicktops were never made by nissan .Are tt slicktops not allowed to be imported to the states then.

Had a look into my brake problem over the weekend and it seems my pistons are jammed. Only checked the driver side front and three of the pistons/cylinders are not working. Couldn't even move them. I guess they are coroded from inside. :( So, rang up Kwik Fit this morning and they recon it'll be around £1500 to replace all the disks/calipers. But they come with a good warranty and a lifetime warranty for the pads. :( I don't think a caliper refurb kit will do any good :( any ideas or suggestions?

Suddently my zx started to smoke huge from the tail pipes. One day later started to smoke from under the bonet as well, just when i start the engine, for a bit. Where should i go to repair it? The car is highly modified. Thanks

im trying to get the intercooler pipes out, i can manage one of the melal pipes, from the hotside of the intercooler, but the cold side pipes (to the plenum) i cant see how the hell they come out? (just to advise its the one the recirc valve is conected to, the metal one)

hi guys, the head gaskets let go on my zed :cry: been looking at the gasket kit on conceptzperformance but was wondering if its any good? and is there a differance between left and right hand drive gaskets? the kit works out at around £251 if that helps, thanks

Evening all :D Right, a few of you will know that I've not had Eliza on the road for a year now, and I'm really missing not driving her. There are various reasons as to why she has remained off-road, but the short of it is that I want her back on the road and working properly for this summer. Simply I could take her to an MOT station and get a ticket and put her back on the road, but I want the turbo problem sorting as well. So I'm fairly sure that at least one of the turbo's has 'gone' so the engine will have to come out, which one and if it definitely has gone or not I'll be checking very soon. But if my worse fears are confirmed then the engine pull will be…
