Hey all I took the car out yesterday and it was the first time I got a chance to swith the boost controller onto high. Its set at 1.52 bar and its was very rapid especially as I had 3 grown men in the car as well. Cant wait to try it on my own. Only downside was that as I was accelerating I would occassionally get waht sounded like a rubbing noie at the back of the car. A whooooooop sort of noise. Is this likely to be my diff complaining about the sudden new amount of power its having to deal with?

Hey all Spent yesterday with the help of a friend installing my new ice. Ive dynamatted the doors and boot and fitted some JL VR650 comps in the front and a Pioneer TSWX77A active sub in the boot. This fits perfectly under the false floor. It sounds awesome really really recomended. I took it out for a spin yesterday and it was great on all counts. I have fitted the front tweeters with the recessed mounts in the door cards and they look really good. Really pleased!! :hyper:

Hi all, I'm after a pair of headlamp bulbs for a Z32 import, which I believe are H3C bulbs (2 prong). I've looked on ebay and they list H1 H4 etc as 300zx 90-94 bulbs. Surely they won't fit? Has anyone bought any H3C bulbs from ebay? If so can you post up a link please. Cheers.

I've been attacking the Z on two fronts this week. I have my three gauges fitted and all wired in as well as the sound system, while we were at it the front lights were all fixed as they weren't working. So all the drivers side dash and trim is now back together rather than looking like a plate of wire spaghetti! I also mocked up the run from the single turbo to the intercooler and intercooler to throttle bodies which includes two Bailey Venturi dump valves. Will have all the joiners and proper hoses next week so will post up some pictures once it's all done properly. Also picked up two small radiators to replace the large single one I can't fit in! Combined th…

Lesson learnt after replacing the clutch, had a few bits to sort out ie, a few bolts and adjusting. After in a rush to get the motor running, OVERTIGHTEND the starter motor bolts and sheared the threads.:slap: Went to start today, and one turn then just a whine noise. Checked and the starter was hanging off. So an hour later after retapping the thread to the box with an M12 tap and die and its sorted, Been out testing it, and its so much better.:nana2:

Im just weighing up my options at the moment as it may look like one of my turbos is on it's way out. The car is showing just over 92000 miles but i think only 5-10000 miles were done in the uk as its a jap import so probably about 70,000 kilometers on what looks to be the original turbos so it's kind of understandable i guess. I recently had the middle boxes removed from my exhaust and replaced with straight through stainless to mate up with the stainless rear boxes. I purposefully left the cats in due to all the horror stories about the turbo seals going, etc.. So, after doing the box removal, i now have a little white smoke coming from the passenger side exhaust. Luc…

What's the above worth out of interest? There's one around the corner from me quite a good example just need a good clean an polish. Seems a shame for such a good example to be so dirty. Needs a bit of love before it starts to turn to a rust heap. Looks like its running ok as it's on the roadside parked up so must have tax etc.

  21. Could have been worse as it just skimmed the sump, the thread on the sump plug adapter is stuck in there which means the sump thread will be fine :) juts ordered a new sump adapter and sensor again grrrrrrrrr. Will post up pics soon. really close one... Im going to post up some pics of the damage and the massive lump in the road which has obviously taken out quite a few cars, you can see the grounding marks. The council will be hearing from me very soon.

My car is lowered 40mm on 17inch wheels It doesn't have any aftermarket adjustment parts fitted, i have bought driftworks camber arms front and back and tension rods with the intention of getting it all adjusted. But, i haven't noticed any kind of abnormal tyre wear of any kind, how neccesary are these parts? is it possible i dont need them?
