do i keep the car gold and find somebody that can match in the front and rear bumper rear boot skin and passenger side wing or ................. paint it black and then think about the interior after words or................... paint it a different colour (if you pick 3 please say the colour on this thread ;)

:duffer:the sun has been shining all day here although i have been at work allday :( i carnt wait untill my boot skin gets here as i have never seen my car with something on the back im still waiting for the bits from america to get here so i can get my engine running sweet then i will give the car a full service including all oils then ive gotta get a good 2nd hand wiring loom and a clutch and i have also got a jd ecu on the way :dance: :dance: get it respayed (maybe still not sure) get the interior valeted its a good life :dance: :dance: untill the morning and summit will go wrong haha

Went to the meet to today, had the best looking Z there:dance: Mine was the only one:slap: Was great seeing Neil as always, lots of advice and tips. Just a shame no-one else turned up:mac1:

Just got in after i started to clean the enigne bay with swarfega jizer (great stuff), done the headlamp panels, headlights, rad, shroud and both arches really pleased but taken 3 hours and im shattered lol got a lot more to go but looking forward to seeing it finished. Regards Andy

As the title says... no club stickers, but apart from the CF flap it was a really neat car.

Finished doing my panels in cream leather... To be fair the pictures prob do it more justice than it deserves, but not bad for a first atempt costing 90 odd quid. Just need to get some black pvc/leatherette to recover nissans upper rear halfs Rich

i have just bought series 1 seats for the z, the passenger side is not electric :bow:but my old velour one is.... can i make the series 1 electric or is it a major ball ache...?

Hi people, just removed the balance bar and for some reason never really looked or smelled in side but its got oil and a fuel smell to it? should this be right or should it be clean? if so what can cause this and what effects can it have on the engine?? hi all. does anyone know where to source some half decent shock absorbers from? i dont want to spend the earth- simply a cost effective way of replacing existing ones , which at the moment bounce like jordan cross country running !

leak seems to be above oil filter back end of engine, could i suspect valve covers , hope not head gasket . are there any oil pipes or pipe unions near top ?this means plenum removal any help with this fiddley task on pages? last intend to replace p c v valves @pipes [ 5 pipes can only see 2] what am i missing please help one of your oldest member[69] thanks

Can anybody please give me a step by step set of instructions on how I install a door glass into the drivers side door.

Today was the day, new clutch time, it started well, everthing off until it came to the bellhousing bolts, someone must have hired guy the gorilla to do them up, besides no fooking room, to get sockets in. After much swearing and ciggies it was off, the new clutch went on no probs, and the rest wasnt too bad. Honestly i thought zed engines were bad, but then it throws O2 sensors and a clutch in the party. I have learnt a big lesson, NEVER NEVER AGAIN will i do it myself. But its in and fully working, just need to adjust it slightly. Give me engines out anyday. Plenty of Stella to be consumed tonight. STU

I want to put rear headrests in my Zed, has anybody already done this? If so what car did you use the rests from and how did you install them? Thanks, Dan

When my zed gets to about 60mph it begins to shake. Also when braking the steering wheel shakes a lot... Whats causing this??? The wheels are all balanced and I had new discs and pads on the front about 6 months ago...

I've bought all the bits and am ready to start a new ICE install. I've also got myself a new interior so it will all go in together hopefully. I haven't quite decided how I want to fit it and how to arrange the various speakers etc so any help would be appreciated. Any links to any nice zed installs would be great. The components I have are: Pioneer DEX P90RS and DEQ P90 processor 2 X Diamond Audio D7401 amps (maybe a third if necessary) 2 X Diamond Audio Subs TDX12D4 Pair of Pioneer TS-M01RSII speakers with TS-T01RSII tweeters. I can do some work myself but if anyone knows a good amateur installer in or around southampton who wants to ear…
