saw a g reg wide arch shorty leaving the carpark at santa pod today around 1:30 2:00 ish ??

I did a spot of racing the other night. Private road etc. And there was a skyline R32 GTR, running 1.4 bar, thats all i know. And what looked like road legal slicks. Now i know the 4 wheel drive makes a massive difference when launching but skylines just seem untouchable in drag races. I raced a scooby and managed to claw the lead back after the poor start. But the skyline, nah. Im sick of being beat by skylines. Any bright ideas? Apart from buy a skyline. A am awaiting a remap but that'll probly make the launch situation worse. cheers danny

Well, just got back from getting my Zed. It's now is snugged up in my garage outside:dance::dance: Well flew across Thursday and just got back today. Totally fooked !!! Yesterday around 5ish, turning on to the A40 west from Perivale direction. Such extreme styling, thought it was an R8 in the side mirror! Wasn't in my zed as im changing the wheel bearing:( There's only one yellow one like that I know of in the area, so, was it you?

in time with engine speed. the new alternator i got had a supressor on it to which i thought would be good but through my amplified speakers i get a alternator whine! went out and bought a ground loop isolator and i still have the noise. seperated the power and speaker cable and still there!! im at my wits end and need to stop this whine! help btw i have a tt alternator on an na car but i doubt it would make bugger all difference

When i am driving around and I have to stop at a juncion or whatever, sometimes when i go to accelarate away, the accelarator pedal feels like it's stuck but if i press down a little bit harder it unsticks and then the power light comes on ... it doesn't do this all the time, but it's really annoying... what could be causing it to want to go into power mode and for the accel pedal to suddenly stick a bit for me to force it down before i pulll away... any ideas guys?

Im doing my new clutch next weekend, luckily at a mates garage, with full access to ramps and air compressor. Ive done clutches on other cars no probs, also changed 2 x zed engines (Uno's old one and mine) and auto boxes. 1. What is a rough idea of time scale that others have done them in???? 2.Mine is a 94 UK, and has the bleed nipple on the slave, does this help me when i get to bleed it. Honest answers much appreciated. Stu

Hi People, the fan shroud on my Z is battered and looks crap. Is it ok to run without this? as far as im aware its only there to protect the fan so might remove it all together. Regards Andy

i have been reading about safety boost and i am now confused.i have a jap tt and it reads up to 7 on the boost gauge(which i know can be a bit crappy),when i floor mine the needle is just falling short of the 7 ......is this good bad or safety boost...???

Have Oil temp, Oil pressure & Water Temp gauges that need fitting anyone fancy fitting them or can recommend someone that would? Cheerz J.

It's happened a few times now and lasts for various periods of time. For no reason my zed starts idling erratically between 1500rpm to 2500rpm. The difference when this happens to any other time it does this is that there is a clicking noise from the instrument binnacle area which coincides with the idling. Does anyone know of a relay or something in this area that might cause this problem and noise. Thanks Rich

Iv requested advice on this problem before but still cant find culprit, and now when i start the engine from cold the cam belt seems to be rubbin off the cam belt cover. Iv changed the belt around 3000 miles ago.The original problem is a rattle that happens when i put my foot down and seems to be comin from low down front. iv checked the exhaust and the brake disks plate and both are tight and firm. Also the rattle only happens when its in gear, iv tried revin the engine when it starts rattlein out of gear and the rattle is gone. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. The cam belt only seems to happen when the engine is cold

Over the last few month i have been checking how accurate the petrol tank gauge is on the zed, i have let the tank run down until the petrol light comes on then go for a fill up, ive done it 3 times and found that the tank still contains 18 litres of fuel when the light comes on(basically a quarter of a tank, or by my zeds economy around 70ish mile). thought it would be useful to share although yours may be slightly diffrent, all i know it its given me confidence that if i realise im miles from anywhere with no money on me, ive got a 70/80 mile range to sort something out does anybody know if you can buy more accurate gauges for the zed that fit where the old on…

hi does anyone know how to remove the connector from the coilpack when they have become so hard and brittle that the little "push here" bit just snaps off ? Maz

Need to get some locking wheel nuts as i'm getting some new wheels tomorrow. has anyone got any recomendation as I can only find these on ebay. Cant seem to find any on the Z centre website or Z1.
