I currently have my engine (TT) and various other parts scattered around the house after my old zed rotted away. I had been hoping to get the engine rebuilt and then start looking for a new SWB shell, but my partner recently changed her job and money is alot tighter at the moment so I am thinking about a new plan. My engine was running ok before I removed it so I was thinking of just doing a few small jobs on it myself, all low cost and putting it into a new SWB shell as soon as I can find one. I can always remove it again later for a full engine rebuild when funds permit as it will be a weekend car only. It has already had a few bits done before such as cambe…

Stopped in a layby to take a piss today. Left the engine running. As I got back in my knee clipped something around the ignition key area - either the key itself or the little release button. Anyway on impact there was a split second high pitch beep noise which I thought was odd. On pulling away though I noticed I had no power steering & the speedo needle was dead (the rest of the dash was working.) I pulled over and switched off thinking a fuse must have gone or summat, but nope. So I start her up again & all is hunky-dory..? Any thoughts?

Hello, I've just bought a beautiful pearl white '95 N/A model. :D Brilliant in every way other than the drivers side indicator bulb is bust, and I'm not too keen on people pulling out on me on roundabouts. For my nissan 100nx it just involved unscrewing the front and the whole indicator pops out to allow access to the back of the lamp, is this the same? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

It's a long shot but does anyone have a chipped ECU lying around I could borrow? I can't get the car to start and after a chat to Jimmer he thinks my standard ECU and 740 injectors will just flood it and stop it starting. I just need to get it on tick over to check oil pressure etc after the rebuild and replumbing of the rads and air intake system.

Saw a dark grey TTzed on the back of a trailer parked in the yard where there's the cossie specialist garage near the hospital. I spoke to the bloke at the garage and he said to speak to Mick. If you're thinking about breaking or selling it I might be interested in some parts.:smash: Looks really nice though.
