quick question......when you first start her up,is the the cat overheat light on dashboard meant to come on?.....its just that is hasnt been then 2nite when leaving work it came on,went straight out, but performance seems greatly improved.....was pulling a hell of alot better.... thanks.

As some are aware im posted out to Germany and have to put on Euro headlights. Well, they come today and i thought id show you all as they are brand new. Ive never seen a new set before. Just my prob is now i have to loose the chrome effect lights. I have another set of Euro inserts to chrome but i m struggling to get the balls to split a new set of lights up. What should i do!!???:headvswal

Since comming back from an mot today I could smell a strong smell of petrol, looked under the car and found that it was dripping petrol from just behind the sump, cant notice anything from under the bonnet, they must of pulled something off by accident, it stops dripping when engine is off but drips when on, any ideas? I will get him to fix it when it goes back in on thursday.

Hey Folks, bought some Gauges (Oil Pressure, Temp and Water Temp)that i will be installing in a couple of weeks, will be doing a HOW TO Write up for it as iv not found one! Looking at which bits i need to buy for the Gauges to work along side my Stock Gauges. Got all the Senders just need the extras then can install them! (Will be DIN GAUGES) Oil Temp Sensor. Need the Size of the thread for the Sump plug! Water Temp. Water Adapter Size to fit in the pipe (Saves me measuring it up) Oil Pressure. Size of the t-piece needed. Got a friend interested in getting a 300zx non turbo, its silver, nice alloys, interior, t bar, manual, 130,000miles for £2000. Does that seem quite expensive? Also wants to know how fast they are and general info. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi chaps, My MOT is due at the end of the month and i'd much prefer to take it to someone who's at least partically familiar with the common problems/issues these cars are faced with. Having my MOT done today, it should fly through I hope but dont know about the emmissions as it has no cats and is overfuelling slightly I think, fingers crossed though.

Hi folks, got my 300 today (love it) but i need new steering rack mount bushes and a bush for the rear offside track rod. Does anyone know where i can get uprated ones from? The rear bush is circled below, not got pics for the steering ones though. Here's some pics i took earlier, good one's 1st Then i need to sort this out, Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers:)

i have a auto uk 300zx k reg, done a manual conversion to it a while back,got a 300zx for spares g reg jap spec manual, would the manual loom plug straight into my auto loom or would i have to change the lot thank you

Need to replace my rear back boxes, any one have an opinion, on good makes,but not to pricey though money a bit tight. {and yes its a can of worms} !!!

was stripping out a 300zx what i bought for spares, under the bonnet come across a oval shapped thing with hks evc controller wrote on it, it plugged into loom and had i think 3 vacum hoses on it. just wanted to know what it did if anyone else had them and if its worth fitting, thank you

My first ever attempt to polish a piece of metal, it was just a trial and will never go on the car but now i understand the process :) Wish id spent more time on it now though Ignore the imperfections and look at that shine :hyper:

I am thinking about slightly flaring the rear arches. I do not particularly want to change my wheels, but they probably will look undersized when done. Is adding spacers dangerous and does it effect handling plese? Thanks.

according to my 95 to 2000 service manual there is a circuit for "footlights" i'm asuming these will be small bulbs somewhere in the footwell that come on when the door is opened. the wiring seems to match the manual but i cant find the lights does anyone with a '95 onwards car have these? if so where exactly are they hiding?

ok im sorted for plugs now.. got a pair of 6 for £41 before delivery.... result ^^ i ordered 11C as im standard however my car is missfiring at the moment and getting worse.... one thing i noticed is that the reciept for spark plugs changed ages ago were showing as each plug at £3. >. hopefully when my new plugs come the missfiring should be solved :hyper:
