AHHHHHHHHHHH Actually hating cars right now:|!!! Just absolutly dying to get myself behind a 300zx twin turbo again. This has been my first performance car and now anytime i look at other i just think, the zed could have taken that.lol. Choking at the bit to get one now think i mite even end up buying a heap to fix it up, which i dont really wani do.ahaha.

Anyone know a good supplier of stickers or a template I could use to put the Brembo logo back on my R34 calipers after I painted them?

Are these any good? Would i have to get front and back or could just get front rods?

ive just spent an hour trying to get my indiglo sills to work,dta-motorsport kindly gave me the new invertors to fit,but there are no invertors on my car wired direct to interior light by previous owner wired them to invertors nothing?

Hi guys, does anyone know the length of the manual flywheel bolts? (excluding the head) I know they are M10 metric fine, and 12.8 high tensile, have a friend who might be able to get me some, but need to know the length, as i don't want to cutting any down (for obvious reasons)... (I also removed all of the aircon piping in the engine bay) ... Do I need to block/blank the two bulkhead connection points to the cabin??? Cheers ;)

I've finally got around to fitting my alloy rad and electric fan set up.The problem is do i have to fit an expansion tank to the rad or can i just bin the old leaking one and run it without. :confused:

Due to the majority of our cars being around 17 years old plus, how would this affect our bhp. I remember seeing a series on top gear where they had to get an italian supercar and then put it on the rollers. There was one car that lost around 110bhp in 20 years if my remember correctly. Is there a rule of thumb out there to go by. A friend suggested 5bhp per year but i thought that was rubbish as that would knock 85bhp off if the car was 17.

Hi All, I first fell in love with the 300zx when I saw it in an issue of the "Supercar" magazine that was issued in either 1989 or 1990. I used to collect them at the time. I remember thinking how beautiful the lines on the car were, and indeed still are. Timeless beauty IMHO. I was back at my parents a few months ago and went searching in the attic for the old issue but unfortunately couldn't find it or any of the other issues. Very interesting thing happend earlier. Whilst on route over to Brighton in the zed, pick up girlfriend to take her to her mates. Get a nod and a thumbs ups from a bloke in a silver skyline, a bit later on after dropping girlfriend off, and heading home on my own, at a set of lights, another silver skyline this time a blue R34, pulls along side. Two little blonde honey's in it, give me a beep and a rev. So i cant be rude and give a smile and a rev back. got a vibration on the Z when cold, does anyone know where i can get a Prop shaft with new centre bearing or complete new prop?

Just a few pictures of progress, the pipe work for the turbo to intercooler to throttle bodies is done as is the cooling system pipe work for the two radiators. Just the radiator fan and air inlets and turbo downpipe to go!

Knowing my rear subframe bushes are leaking and worn been saving up to get them replaced but just seen these http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=1374 anyone used them? are they easy to fit and what benefits do they give? They wont stop the bushes leaking tho will they and can the Z fail an MOT with leaking bushes? Regards Andy

Done the AT check just now and got one long flash and 9 blinks = engine revoution center circuit fault. No idea what this is.. bad good? expensive to fix?:(

I'm struggling with a few pipes on the engine that I'm building up, basically the car came in bits and so far we have then engine in, but theres a few pipes I just need identifying if someone could please help? :o First of all theres a rubber hose which comes out off either side behind the timing cover (red arrow): also on the second picture, there are two small hoses (green and blue arrows) that go into a metal tube each, on a single bracket which bolts to the side of the head. At the back of the engine they appear to go to EGR solenoid, or that area? But where do they go to at the front? Finally, I seem to be missing the fuel pipework from th…

Hi folks hoping someone can help me here, as my cars currently off the road having an engine re-build after heater matrix fail and head gaskets going pop:(, i thought i'd strip and prep the body to paint it soon, but basically i've found out you can't remove the door cards with the windows up, my car is minus a dash and engine etc, so any ideas how to get my windows down? i'm assuming with so many things unplugged etc that there's a gap in the system as i've tried just hooking the battery up but they won't go down, i do hear a couple of clicks from where dash would be,assuming they're relays. if anyone can help it'd be appreciated! thanks Ryan
