Spotted a silver one broken down on the A46 Tuesday night 1 at The Garage Door Company at about 10am this morning. Black with big exhausts. And last but not least a pearl white one on the A47 near Leicester Forest East. Best day spotting I've had for ages!!!! Ivan

  7. *****x. Only had them on a couple of weeks. Pulled out of a juntion too fast in the wet, back end spun around and slammed me sideways into the curb on the opposite side of the road. Other than the scuffed alloys is there anything else i should check after such a collision? Car seems to drive fine and in a straight line but ya can never be sure with these things. Hit the curb pretty hard sideways.

Hi Guys, just wondering if any of you have had dealings with Z-Autos. I am looking for someone to do my Manual conversion and Nottingham isn't far from me. Are they well experienced with the 300zx? And have you had good dealings with them? Cheers in advance!:duffer:

  9. Anyone had this before? The explanation mark in a circle light is on when handbrake is applied, but doesnt go out when handbrake is off, the light only goes dim. It did this this morning and I stopped car and restarted and all went ok, but every other time today it has just gone dim. Fluids are fine? Any ideas? cheers :)

Hi. Was just wondering what possible causes there could be for the hicas light coming on in the zed? Found a set im ratehr intrested in but have been informed the hicas light is on. The valuation of the zed is quite highish imo so i dont want to be touching it if the hicas light = big spending straight away. I understad it can mean something is worn etc. Any you guys had this problem or that can help?

Im looking to fit a doolz set-up within the next few months. But im not 100% sure about the electronics side of things. i.e. getting the ECU to read the correct amount of air. Am i right in thinking that it is as simple as fitting the twin intake with one air flow meter and the ECU can be chipped to make it read the correct amount of air?

...vacuum feed pipe (6mm) from my mechanical boost gauge to the balance bar? I know a lot of people have rooted wires through the bonnet release wire grommet on the bulkhead, but I didn't want to put the vacuum pipe through there as it looks a bit tight. With oil and water wires already going through there, I'm worried it may kink the pipe? Is there another way I can feed this pipe? Cheers for any help Dave

Did Nissan change the front lights and have a 99 spec front lights? This may be a totally stupid question, but am I right in thinking there were subtle changes to the older versions lights? If I'm not mad, can anybody tell me the difference between the different specs and a pic would be good, so that I can check mine. Thanks

Warning to all zed owners but in particular UK spec ones, started to see a worrying increase in corrosion issues with engine sumps, the first two photos show how it starts, eventually as seen in the last photo the sump becomes very thin and porous, replacement is the only answer which can be costly in labour as well as a new sump pan. So if you have noticed an oil leak under the engine and an oily sump pan check it out , and anyone who has not got a leak yet, check your sump pan for corrosion and treat it asap. Jeff TT
