just a quick one, Which zeds had alloy calipers and which had iron?

I know that Z009 is running this weekend and so is the Rising Sun car meet... I was just wondering if anyone is going to The Rising sun one anyways as I am and would like to see some other Zeds... Seems like a bit of a c0ck up with the organising having 2 events running on the same weekend like.. but nevermind..

I was sat inthe pub minding my own business when my friends shouted "Z" !! so I got up to see a black Z LWB, fairly standard looking but low drive past. Anyone on here?

Just been out for a blast when all of a sudden the cat light came on and the cars running felt lumpy. Is this just because the cats hot and i need to let it cool or could it be a fooked cat. The light went off quick but the running is not right. Its the left side. Damo:cry:

can you buy the boot cover clips. i had my cover in place when i closed the boot it hit a box i had in there and snapped. it's the clip on the cloth part thanks

Noticed today in the passenger footwell that I had a small water feature trickling down my carpet. Can I just take the rubber hoses off the back of the engine and link the two metal pipes together with a bit of hose? Thanks.

Hi all was thinking of doing a full fluid change on my Z32TT and was wondering whats the best oil to use as i dont really want to use thin thin oil as they tend to leak easy. what oil is recomended by you peeps for engine, gearbox & diff, thanks Dom.

Right a few weeks ago i drove my car to Wigan and on the way back i started getting a slight hesitation when on boost. Its missing slightly when boosting and also slightly when on idle. Well after working none stop for the last few weeks i've got some spare time tomorrow and would like suggestions on what to check. All in very simple terms please cos i dont know so much i'm afraid. If people could give me a small list of the first things to check and how to check that would be great. I will be taking my strut brace etc off to gain access so what needs checking. Also when boosting it i sometimes get the cat overheat light coming on. I know people have h…

i need a black bumper, my car is the metalic black with gold flake type of Z, ive been offered a non metalic one. will this stand out like a sore thumb? or isit hardly noticable? PS its the front bumper

Hi, im just after some advice i have a zx twin twin turbo and have red the buyers guide on this site. its says that if the turbo gauge is in the middle when you start the car in the morning there is a vacuum leak etc. is that right. how would i check that?

Hi all i have a square red button on the left side of the casing around the steering wheel, when i press it a fan come's on, does that mean i always have to activate my fan, the temp never creeps up even in heavy traffic, not pressed it once yet, well only to test what it was, is it a normal thing. thanks Dom

I have an occasionall misfire on 1 cylinder when the car is fully warmed up, however not when its first started, doesnt seem to missfire when revs are held, just on idle, any ideas without me looking?

So i can go to Z2009 Went for a run to warm up oil for oil & filter change. All of a sudden engine light came on,revs increased slighty to 1200rpm and electric fan came on. Changed oil & filter,so i know there is enough oil,checked water ok. Now on starting all is fine for between 10-40 seconds then same thing happens,engine light comes on,revs increase and electric fan on. Please help,want ot go to Z2009 this weekend.

Was it a success last month? Will there be a May Contest? By the poor turnout again i think possibly not!

My 300 has only done this twice in the time of me owning her and the last time it was very loud and has only ever done this when ive got her very hot and been giving it a hell of lot of beans,(basically on the verge of hitting the limiter) is this any thing to be concerned by or just unburnt gasses exploding on the hot exhaust upon exit?

Hi everyone My car will be arriving from Japan at the end of this month hopefully so I was wondering what if anything I will need to do to it. De-limit the speed ? Do I have to since I'm an old guffer now ? Adjust the mileometer to reflect the mileage in miles instead of km's ? How ? UK clocks ? (What's the difference ?) Other things ? Is it the act of de-limiting the speed that changes the mileometer to read miles ? Cheers Mark

Hi All, have not been on here for a little while as I have got so fed up with the Zed it has been parked in the gararge for the last few months. Current problem it that I keeped getting a wet MAF and engine cut out; however the problem I have is that when I disconnect to MAF it still cuts out, now I thought that with a disconnected MAF I simply would not be able to rev past 2500rpm. When the car cuts out, it is not a striaght cut out it runs on a few cylinders for about 10 secs and even if you press on the gas it dies! Now I have to say I am getting to the point where the mrs wont get in the car because it breaks down all the time!
