I got a set of rear R33 calipers but I don't think they came with the complete bracket to mount the brake pipe to. On the Z32 caliper the bracket that holds the small hard pipe out to join the flexi hose on the car is one piece. It won't fit the R33 caliper. The bracket that came with the R33 caliper doesn't have a mounting slot for the flexi pipe so that's no use either. It either bolts up to something else on the Skyline or there's another piece of bracket screws onto it with a hole for the flexi pipe to clip into. Am I missing something? How have you all connected up the pipes on these calipers? I'd thought of just doing away with the bracket and …

trying to work out what parts to buy with my uprated suspension. I was looking at http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_526&products_id=3115, but I think it will work out expensive with postage. There are several different brands on ebay, some very cheap. Has anyone tried the cheaper stuff? also what do I actually need, just those three items, more or less?? all I want is to make the handling as good as possible

Take a look at the poor quality packaging that has been done on the exhaust sytem below, it was purchased on E-bay by a customer who had it shipped direct to us in advance of his zed arriving. No time or care been taken, remarkably seen as it was a £150 transaction the seller could of tried a bit harder eh? Jeff

Helloo! I used to own a few 300zx one non and one twin turbo. I've since sold and bought a Subaru Legacy GTB twin turbo. It's quite a quick car when you floor it but one thing that is lacking is the brakes. The fronts are just two pots and just don't give me any confidence compared to my old brembos on my Nissan TT from a R33 GTR....i don't expect them to be that good of course but know i can improve them. I'm looking to upgrade to Subaru 4 pots but noticed on flea bay someone selling a Nissan set from a 300zx and he thought they would also fit the Subaru. My question is has anyone bought or does anyone know if these will fit? Has anyone…

  15. Will attempt to remove the plenum in the next week or so,to replace my injectors and have read with interest the article on twin turbo.net. Question:- is it worth carrying out the water bypass, and what are the benefits/disadvantages, i guess nissan would not have fitted it if it was not necessary:tongue: And also looking on the above site it mentions drilling out the hose conn.........why:confused: i cannot see why this is required. Any thoughts and help Cheers Dave

Just got back, good day weather not that bad, we only had a small rain shower this morning just as our track time started:headvswal. But overall good turn out and nice to catch up with old friends and new. Some of our lads spun off,but not saying who;),and real bad luck to the guy who brought Stus old car [silver streak] he was going very well until he lost a bolt on the o/s front caliper which sent the caliper threw his wheel, lucky he felt the car wasn't right and pulled into the pits where he then had the blow out. Real shame car does look better in the flesh. Any way good turn out but i have no pictures [left the camera in the garage:rolleyes:] …

I'm trying to flush the coolant, so far I've undone the bottom rad drain plug, and flushed the rad with water, this was so slow that I undid the bottom right hand hose from the rad. It's flushing much quicker now, but I think it's only cleaning one side of the rad. I don't want to remove the engine drain plugs because I'll probably shear them off! Can I put the my hose in one of the hard pipes (the one with the ecu and gauge temp senders) connecting the engine to the rad, and flush the engine that way? Cheers Dave

My light is on and steering heavier. Looked at the oil level in the power steering and is ok, if not a little high! Steering wheel is standard, But when car is first started there is no light and system seems fine. Its only when driving for about 5 minutes the light comes on and steering feels heavy. Im thinking of draining the power steering reservoir and getting the right level in a bit. Any advice guys Damo
