are there any uprated engine mounts availible for the 300zx? not the bushes the mounts sit on but the actual mounts themselves. reason being that on bigger turbos the compressor comes straight out onto the mount making it difficult to fit the pipes onto without modification. just wondering if there was anything off the shelf availible.

Just thought I would post some pics of my exhaust...not like you can see much of it however, but it's a Fujitsubo Giken Kogoyo exhaust. It sounds really nice, not loud at all, no rasp.. just perfect IMO. I have also added pictures of my car to the "Rides" section for the first time too if anybody fancy's checking them out! Cheers! P.S. Could somebody tell me how to upload a video onto here. :D

Got some new braided hoses to fit my rear R34 calipers and spent all day trying to get one of the old hoses off. It already has braided hoses on from about 6 years ago but they've rusted up solid and I need to change them because they won't work with the R34's. Tried everything including penetrating oil and heat but it won't budge and in the end the nut rounded off so I'm completely screwed. Don't know if there's any way of putting a new end on the pipe as it's so tight in against the bodywork and suspension. Car is on my drive with no brakes now so don't know what I can do with it. HELP! :(

Had to play with him. His launch was ****, mine being an auto launch good. Must say i thought he would catch up but no, mine only has cat back and filters at the mo so not lightning, but it was enough for 3 car lengths. Don't normally do this but i thought sod it 3 litre V6 twin turbos aren't always for pottering about in now are they guys. After that the car deserved it 3 hour clean!

Woo Hoo!!! Finally on the road :hyper::hyper::hyper: Taxed and tested today, straight through MOT and have done about 2 hours driving running in. No leaks and nothing caught fire or fell off so a success as far as I'm concerned! First impressions: Front suspension geometry is miles off, makes for interesting cornering. Engine is bloody responsive, mapping very crude just now but even so, the throttle response is almost telepathic and it pulls VERY well as far as I have tried it. Car feels much more alive with all the solid mounts etc. There is no slack anywhere. The V8 sound is awesome - will get some vids ASAP

Hi People, thinking of keeping the Z now and putting it off road for the summer and doing some repairs. Going to remove the plenum and change the fuel lines underneath and injectors. But while doing the job was thinking of replacing the main engine wiring harness. But cant find any instrutions on how to replace the harness, can it be done on the ground or will i need a ramp? Regards Andy

hi everyone, just a quick question, i was wondering what the car key for the Z was supposed to look like, mine is a small key, the plastic is in the shape of a triangle with smooth corners & says TIMPSON on it, looks like a moped key to be honest, just wondered thats all, as it looks very boring and cheap. the carbon canister is out, didn´t have the small hose on the fender that needed blocking off according to the write up, but it also mentioned that some peopple had written in to say they didn´t have it either, so that´s cool. rerouted the feul tank breather pipe and then went to the engine bay. took the two right hand side intercooler pipes off, capped the small pipe on the throttle body and also the one that goes to the balance bar, as "instructed" The problem is the write up says after removing the IC pipes "Now look down toward the front of the car, just outside of where the large IC hose ran from the turbo down to the IC. Find the metal vacuum galley as …
