hi all my mate has got a baileys dump valve, he said i can have it, it was on his impreza will it work on my Z, also gonna fit it straight away & then fit the other when i get it, would that be ok to do, thanks all, Dom.

Are front indicator bulbs not universal? Got some crystal clear ones but th orange bulbs don't fit. Looks like the too things on the side of the bulbs aren't directly opposite. Where can I get some that will fit

Hi all, long story short, loads of vibrations through the car, found the centre bearing to be at fault. Then notices that both U/J's are notching too. Any ideas who can recondition these? hi matey wondered if you can PM me regarding engine work you could do? looking to start of aiming for a 400bhp engine rebuild (at the wheels) however would like to be able to bung in bigger turbos when i save up for them after so that i still have the car in between 400bhp and preparing for up to 500bhp If you have some work slots available this year (as i am sure you are busy)then i would like to organise something :-)

OK, Soon will be the time to rebuild my 300zx. Looking at what sort of price i am likely to pay for: -turbos that can handle up to 500bhp at the wheels (was looking at JWT 530BB's) -Split fire coils (if i need them) -Forged pistons. (Wosner or weisco?) -555 injectors - stronger rods (If i need them) -Stronger crank (if i need it) -and a chip/ecu to support these mods -last but not least a fast auto box or a strengthening kit for my existing box (valve thingies - not sure what they are called) what am i looking to pay for these? I have found some on ebay for descent prices but does any of the traders sell upgrade kits that …

I drove to the shops & when I came out it just wouldn't start. I had the breakdown guys come out, he gave it a few tries cleaned up my spark plugs & then gave up & towed me home. I've had my immobiliser checked & bypassed but that's not it either... anyone got any ideas? The starter motor sounds fine it just doesn't fire,, it sounds like it wants to, it grunts a litlle but never picks up.

Hi All My right exhaust bank has begun to churn out the blue smoke. Can you please advise me: What spares I will need once I have the engine out. Where I can get them from the UK. Should I be re-conditioning the turbos entirely ? How do aftermarket replacement turbos compare price wise to re-conning the original items. If I were to have a garage undertake the work, how much do you think it would cost? Many thanks Rob

Batteries I'm talking about ;) Well the battery finally packed up on Eliza last week, so I couldn't start her (obviously) and the search was on for a decent priced one that was the correct size. Easy you say!!..... NO I say!! Eliza is a JSPEC, so she requires a 096 type (terminals to the rear, + on the left & - on the right) Last time I bought one I had to have two pieces of 2x3 wood under it to jack it up so that I could use the battery strap (it was a fairly adequate arrangement for five years!) This time I wanted the correct height, so first place PARKERS..... too short and £90 inc! Second place LINCO Also too short and gain £90 inc! Just popped into PA…

I'm curious about your spec after hearing you are running the same turbos as i will be. I have heard allot about those turbos. All good things, was wondering how you find your power curve? Hi all, only really noticed today but if i hold the revs at any position lets say 3000rpm the revs will drop about 200rpm and back up then down etc it will do this at any position? Doesnt seem to be a misfire but could this be a fuel pressure problem? if there is a leak under the plenum which im going to remove soon could this cause that problem?? Regards Andy

Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear quarter glass rubbers? do they just pull off? I also want to re-use them so dont want to damage them in the process.

Well the car moved out of the garage under her own steam for the 1st time in 9 months today so started cleaning her up. The bumper still needs the paint finished so isn't fitted on properly (may change it in the future when funds allow) Booking in for the exhaust, then get it set up and a MOT on them let her lose!!!!:dance: Sounds like a drag car at the moment with just a turbo down pipe but was nice to actually drive her, well sort of -15 feet up the driveway, then back again, then up again, then back again, then up again....... :D Still lots of little jobs to do but can drive her for the rest of the summer hopefully.

Hi guys, As you guys know I have bought Radrons car... it has many gizmos and a great spec and I'm very happy with it, however I checked the peak reading in the boost controller a while ago and it stated it was 222 :shock::shock: So I have checked the rest of the setting and and they are: Lo: Set 53% Gain 10% Set Gain 105 warning 110 L 10% Hi: Set 72% Gain 10% Set Gain 152 warning 180 L 10% I'm not sure what the setting mean or should be? I did find see posting by Mr. Dixon that explains it all but can't seem to find it at the moment... The original warning level was set to for 188 for Lo and 224 for Hi. had loads of gearbox problems as of late first started off with clutch going! fair enough i thought general wear and tear, then a week later the holder for the release bearing collapsed! gear box off again, then about 3 weeks later the clip what holds the fork on the bearing snapped, gearbox off again! now today been for a good drive round derbyshire and the fork had snapped in half! i know these cars are getting on now but i just dont know if i could take anymore! i feel like i know the ins and outs of a nissan box now lol

i noticed my aircon relay or big fuse what ever it is, is missing, would there be a reason for that. or shall i just buy one & put it in.
