Well the car moved out of the garage under her own steam for the 1st time in 9 months today so started cleaning her up. The bumper still needs the paint finished so isn't fitted on properly (may change it in the future when funds allow) Booking in for the exhaust, then get it set up and a MOT on them let her lose!!!!:dance: Sounds like a drag car at the moment with just a turbo down pipe but was nice to actually drive her, well sort of -15 feet up the driveway, then back again, then up again, then back again, then up again....... :D Still lots of little jobs to do but can drive her for the rest of the summer hopefully.

what do you think of that price, bearing in mind the bottom end is knocking bodywork wise its in great condition with the kit and so on what you's think?????

Hi guys, As you guys know I have bought Radrons car... it has many gizmos and a great spec and I'm very happy with it, however I checked the peak reading in the boost controller a while ago and it stated it was 222 :shock::shock: So I have checked the rest of the setting and and they are: Lo: Set 53% Gain 10% Set Gain 105 warning 110 L 10% Hi: Set 72% Gain 10% Set Gain 152 warning 180 L 10% I'm not sure what the setting mean or should be? I did find see posting by Mr. Dixon that explains it all but can't seem to find it at the moment... The original warning level was set to for 188 for Lo and 224 for Hi. had loads of gearbox problems as of late first started off with clutch going! fair enough i thought general wear and tear, then a week later the holder for the release bearing collapsed! gear box off again, then about 3 weeks later the clip what holds the fork on the bearing snapped, gearbox off again! now today been for a good drive round derbyshire and the fork had snapped in half! i know these cars are getting on now but i just dont know if i could take anymore! i feel like i know the ins and outs of a nissan box now lol

i noticed my aircon relay or big fuse what ever it is, is missing, would there be a reason for that. or shall i just buy one & put it in.

Well i ran in safety boost for a long time as my EBC was only half plumbed in and when it was finally fitted properly it was like January and i nearly killed me and the fitter as the roads were that bad :rofl: Anyway with lack of money and the bad weather i've not been using my zed all that much and even tho its been good weather recently i had a couple of running probs that took longer to fix than normal as i'm so busy as of late. hi all i was gonna buy 2 apexi induction kits for my Z32TT, but i'v seen a few pics with a t peice & 1 induction kit, would one induction kit really be better then 2 new panel filters, or should i stick to buying a pair.

Hi, any advice please, I have looked at my air filter and found it to be called an Apexi. It is conical in shape. I want to replace it with a fresh one, however I believe I can actually clean it. Any advice on this please. Like if I can clean it how? Thanks everyone.

Took my Z out for a spin up the motorway on the hottest recorded day of the year!.. Got to where I wanted to be.. parked up & just popped the bonnet to help it cool down, but as I did that I noticed there was a kind of white smoke/steam coming from the back of the engine.. or the top?.. I have attached a pic of an engine to show you where I mean & replicated the smoke. :D Any ideas what this could be?

As above, after giving it some welly, I turned into my street with the clutch pressed and it cut out like the revs dropped to low, its only ever done this twice, it starts and drives fine afterwards, it does have a sight idle issue, everything was fine on the conzult, could it just be the temp sensor or idle controle valve?

Is this a safe amount of boost? I have the following mods. JWT 555 Eprom JWT 530 turbos nismo 555 injectors wiesco pistons engine lightened and balanced godspeed smic's lightened racing pulleys rps racing clutch lightened and balanced flywheel I have listed the basic engine mods, I have run it at this for a bit and seems to be fine but I have turned it down to 1bar just in case as im not sure if the eprom upgrade is good enough as I think its running a bit rich and it idles a bit funny, could this be down to the map I have? Is it a good idea to keep it at 1 bar or is 1.5 bar safe enough?

I replaced the fuel pressure regulator and dampner over the weekend, and now it wont start :( getting a spark ok , bit no fuel by the looks of things, i've checked and rechecked and all pipes are in the right place, so guessing there must be some sort of airlock or blockage? I took the hose of after the filter and fuel sprayed out, so it's getting through the filter, then took the return hose off beside the fuel filter and only a tiny little dribble came out. How do I bleed the fuel system? or could it be something else? Cheers David

I have taken off one tub so far and on inspection without stripping tub down have noticed that . On the fins they seem to be double, i thought that on a standerd t25 that there is only one row of fins , anyone got a pic please.:bow:

Hi ive got to change the rear wheel bearing, has anyone got a fitting guide? I know i need to get it pressed out but other than that i have never changed one before. Can anyone help? Thanks

Is it normal for a 300zx TT only mods is a blitz induction kit drink half a tank of petrol in 90miles? (70mph most of the time)

Well i've taken a week off work to finish off the V8 so here's what i've achieved today: Started off by fit all the pistons and conrods and grinding every cylinder to fit for clearance. It took about 4 hours but i got there in the end. All pistons in: Timing chain on and cam degreed ready to test the clearance and amazingly the conrods clear the cam on every stroke, i'm so relieved!!! Conrods all attached to the crank finally: Now to test the clearance of the waterpump on the timing cover eek, works just fine with a bit of fiddling: Head number one in place and test bolted down: Both heads on now to test fit the alternato…

hi there i have recently bought a nissan 300zx twin turbo.i went out for a drive in it the other day and the car drove fine nothing seemed out of the ordinary,but i parked it in a car park for about 15 mins and when i retured the car would not start.so i left it to cool down and retured about 2 hours later and it started easy and drove fine again.has any one else come across this problem if so can they point me in the right direction thanks...
