Stupid question of the day probably, but does anyone have a picture of how it is routed?! I can't seem to get my head around how it fastens (I assume) to the bulkhead, should have left it in when the engine got swapped but my mate took it out! :o

thought i would use my newly acquired SLR camera ... holiday and editorial photo's are gonna rock :D anyway these boost jets that were in the car when i bought it are finally out................... SHOCKING!!!!!!!!!!:mac1: after i took these out and replaced them with some piping connectors santa and myself went for a spin. now the car goes to safety boost only. It still has the engine missing at high revs so now we are thinking that when the boost controller was taken out the wastegate solenoid was not connected properly, would you lot all agree this is the case? Me and santa are worried because surely with safety…

Ive just bought an original stillen nose panel but on the label, it says that you need to follow the instructions supplied with it, to make sure it is painted correctly. Unfortunately, i never got the instructions with it. Just wondering if anyone on here has a copy of them? Thanks

  10. I absolutely loved it. Cant believe how much grip was available today. It was a very hot day however so engine heat keep creeeping up I kept it on stock boost 10psi.... brakes got a little hot too but they worked very well, i think the pad im using is the weak spot as it was glazing the disc i think, but they still held out better than ever. All in all it was a good day. The cars with slicks were very quick and i had no chance round the corners with them. My tyres held out better than expected and got quite hot and sticky im thinking about buying some spare wheels for track days and running semi slicks :D forward vid to 2:20 alot of waiting around sorry …

New owners need to be aware of what has been done to their new purchase and if by a garage or DIY. see the photos below. New purchase, in fact a top zed in real nice condition but the rear suspension banging like big drum, in fact a really big drum! Check ou the first two pics. they show the shock absorber top and mounts, (the loose nut is not connected to the issue I had started to undo it before taking the pics) the amount of thread showing was excessive and pointed to a problem. The next pic. shows some nice after market springs in quite new condition like the shocks, maybe this points to why there is a problem? someone been here The next pic. sh…

For good :( Having checked out my position tonight, I can no longer afford to do anything to Eliza. So as she is just sitting there decaying slowly, she's got to go. It's not a position I want to be in, but being real here I think it's the only thing I can do.... I'm really not happy writing this right now. I'll put up a proper For Sale add in a bit, but to be honest I really don't see anyone wanting it in it's current state, and in the current financial climate. And before anyone says, I can't break her because I have nowhere to do it, although I know I'd get more for her that way.

I'm ready to actually lift the engine out of my old zed. However, since I've never lifted an engine before, I thought it best to get some advice as I don't want to break or drop it..lol I'm going to hire an engine crane to do the job.. Do I need a levelling bar? or will the hook and chains be fine? How are the chains attached to the engine, do they go all round like a sling or are they bolted to the block? I've also got a clarke engine stand but it doesn't show how to actually bolt the engine on! How do I attach the engine to the stand? Cheers for any help, as always. Dave

I have a bit of a problem with the fit of my Border bonnet on one side in that it sticks up slightly from the line of the wing at the front edge. I've tried all sorts to line it up and been thinking of using some bonnet pins but don't really like the traditional chavvy type pins you see on Nova's to keep that monster engine covered LOL Anyone seen or used these AeroCatch flush locks on a Z? I don't think they'd look too out of place... My bonnet catch is a bit sticky too so could kill 2 birds with one stone. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AEROCATCH-Flush-Locking-Bonnet-Pins-Catch-FREE-UK-P-P_W0QQitemZ300317146192QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?…
