Does anyone know if the wheel studs from a 350Z will fit a 300zx?

Got a knocking from the rear thought it was the rear lower shock bushes in the hubs got some from nissan.It apears its not them but the top shock bearing anyone had this problem ,can i just change the bearing or do i need new top mounts or can you adjust the play got about 3mm play thanks taff.:)

just been thinkin as ive been made an offer but aint a clue how much she is worth! she is a 1991 manual twin turbo full leather re-trim in white and black(including dash and door cards) stage 1 turbos,jwt ecu, twin bailey dump valves,blitz sus filter,upgraded fuel pump and injectors. hid headlights 18'' antera 309 alloys (dunlop tyres all round) straight through mongoose exhaust (no cats) just had a full re-spray (to high standard) full alpine amped up front speakers and crossovers probs loads more but cant think at the min! also got stacks and stacks of reciepts and a dvd with the body work all being done, any ideas of a price would be great c…

I have a bit of a problem with the fit of my Border bonnet on one side in that it sticks up slightly from the line of the wing at the front edge. I've tried all sorts to line it up and been thinking of using some bonnet pins but don't really like the traditional chavvy type pins you see on Nova's to keep that monster engine covered LOL Anyone seen or used these AeroCatch flush locks on a Z? I don't think they'd look too out of place... is there something you can do/buy, so you lose the orange indicator bit on the back lights? want a clear/white bit, dont really like the orange. is there a replacement or do you have to get the whole light?

ordered some however they are now saying they are awaiting stock and could be a week or two :-( anyway a company near me sell sillicone vacuum hoses and it is about £7 per metre (blue to match car too :-) How many metres of silicone vacuum hoses will I need and what sizes in mm? i am also looking to get some for my mates zed as he helped me out so please try to include metres to cover his car (obviosuly different colour :-) i thought 12 metres would cover 2 cars however that is for one mm size... isn't there 3 different sized ( mm ) of vacuum pipes?

got one headlight bulb blown. what size are they and can i get them from halfrauds? I have noticed both of them have a blue tint but are not HID's. are they zenon bulbs? Obviously i might need to buy two of them if i cannot get hold of some blue ish ones . any ideas?

Hi all where can i buy a set of clear side repeaters for my Z as they looks like someones super glued 2 carrots on my wings lol, either buy clear ones, or spray tint these ones black, same as the car. thanks.

been reading this off another post as i am having a very similar problem. every morning on its first run i start the car up fine and start to drive off fine. 5 minutes into the drive the revs start dipping to almost 0 every time i press the accelerator pedal. After another 5 minutes it seems to stop for the rest of the day... it is very annoying as it often stalls. My car was sorted with santa's help and we stopped it smelling of fuel from the exhaust and looked at some various fuel pipes to tighten. I started the car today and thought I'd leaving it running for a few minutes so that the air con could cool the inside down a bit before driving it. After a minute or two there was a sudden whoosh and cloudy steam looking stuff came out from under the bonnet! Seemed to be coming from the passenger side at the front somewhere. I turned the engine off. It hissed/steamed for 30 seconds or so and then died away. I couldn't see anything very obviously wrong (not that you can see much in those engine bays) so I started it up again and everything seemed OK, so I gingerly drove it home (watching the temp gauge like a hawk!). hi ya i have a problem with my 300, it dosent allways start when hot it was suggested that it could be the ptm sensor but when it done it earlier to day i checked to see if it had a spark and it did, plus the car is a series 2 so it has the better ptm sensor anyway, so im at a bit of a loose end with it, can anybody help???plus it sometimes crunchies going in to 5th gear especially under power, but all the other gears are fine is this likely to be the clutch or could it be the gearbox? thanks...

Does anyone know if you can obtain new rubber seals for the side repeaters? I have some clear ones fitted and they have both split :( got the old orange ones out this afternoon and they seem to be glued on, so don't want to pull too hard in case I damage them and then can't get hold of any replacements ie; the orange ones will have to go back on! All info appreciated ;) Dave

Well as above! I had the engine rebuilt about 18 months ago but i've not been able to get it remapped since. It's currently running a basic map, written by John Dixon, but i think it's nearing time to start running these turbo's to show what they can do. Any Offers?

hey people. I was hoping my 1st post on here was guna just be sayin hi etc. But unfortunatly i have a bit of a problem! After years of wanting a z32 on friday i finally got 1. And i absolutly love it. However after using it the last few days. Today when i used it to pop up to the shops it wouldn't start again! Now im not sure if its the same with all z32's but when i turn the ignition on you car hear the fuel pump engage at the back of the car. Sounds like its pumping until you start the car. Now all im gettin when i try to start it is a small click. (maybe some sort of relay) and it will turn over but not fire, or if it does fire it wont stay running for more …

Another week and another problem! :) I have had my car back a few weeks, before that it was off the road for 6 months. Since then; 50% of the time it struggles around the 2 - 2.5k rpm mark, seems to clear itself then revs sluggishly. If I drop it out of gear (auto) it revs quite happily, its only once its in drive that I get these problems. Any other time it drives fine. I have not driven it since japfest due to not knowing the cause. Last year I spent thousands trying to get all the leaks sorted, it was leaking from more holes than a collinder! Now I seem to have a slight leak from the autobox. Could Low oil in the box cause the symtoms above? If not could…

Found this which looks on the face of it a bit of a bargain. What do you think? My main worries are: 1. It's a 1989 model 2. the current owner has only had it 2 months (always a worry why it's being sold on) However I've spoken to the bloke and he assures me there is nothing wrong apart from a bit of blistering on the spoiler. reckons the engine is sound. anyone know,ive just wired in my 4 pot venom lights and i now have no side repeaters all other lights work including front and rear indicators, i may have not connected them up anyone know what colour cable i need to connect up from nissan loom:( any help much appreciated
