That should have got your attention. from looking through the recepts that came with zx i bought yesterday i think i have your old car. she is a 91 h plate jspec tt auto in red the engine and box seem very strong and the bodywork seems good too- its had a respray. can you shed any more light on the car. are there any nice upgraded bits on it other than the exhaust and a remap to 95 spec. As you may know from prev posts I'm currently on the look out for my fist Z:hyper: I've seen one listed as a fresh import at a dealer. My question is, is there any work the dealer should have carried out to make it legal over here. I'm thinking headlights mph conversion etc. Or are they usually full jap spec and it's down to me to make the changes. If so what do I need to be aware of. Muchas gracias

Gave her a quick wash and comes up nice, got it booked in to have a mop run over it to bring out the minor scratches etc. Enjoy. :duffer:

Some twat has reversed into my front bumper , and scratched it ,two wks ago some one hit the rear wing ,and marked it , twice and not once have they had the decentcy to leave a note , polished it out but its left very faint marks , might end up putting camaras out side pointing to the car , both were done by a black car ,:mad:

How would you know when its bled properly? I cant see anymore bubbles coming out and its topped rite up!

Hi guys Having once done an Auto to manual conversion and now not being either rich (it did end up quite expensive I thought) or so in need of a manual gearbox, I've been thinking about the ESS Racing Shift At Will kit that might satisfy those occassional urges for pretending to be Jensen Button in my new Z :) It seems to offer the best of both worlds - boulevard cruising which I think these cars look soooooo good doing and more boisterous driving ! Does anyone have the second generation kit on their car ? Do any of the traders on here stock it ? Thanks Mark

Hi people, Ok, after having my engine rebuilt by jimmer :bow: my oil temp seems to get a little high now and again, so i am gonna go for a larger oil cooler. I have seen some on e-bay, which are cheap, but want it to last and be good quality. Has anyone got an upgraded oil cooler fitted? If so, what did you go for, and what is the size of the fitments? Did you get the mounts with the new cooler? I want to buy 1 and be a direct fit. Mine is a Jap TT manual. cheers peeps, Al.

good afternoon, can anybody help ?? I bought a set of standard wheels which have turned out to be jap spec , and my 92 TT uk spec. which are slightly less wide at 225 not 245, is this the only difference and is there any reason not to run the jap spec rears on a uk spec car ....?? ideally i would like to have the uk spec wheels on the rear as we are driving to le mans on wednesday next week for the 24 hour. does anybody know where i might find a standard uk spec rear rim i think its size 245/50/r16, any help would be much appriciated?? this is the last thing after a 6 mouths rebuild can wait to unleash the beast again, ready for the summer. hia all just a quick question.ive started an auto to manual conversion on my 1990 j spec tt :).the manual gearbox ive puchased is a uk spec that has an external oil cooler .fortunately i didnt get the cooler with it.question is can i blank off the holes for the pipe unions with some bolts i have or do i need to just connect the pipes together........lee

I took the car out last weekend and all was fine, havent been using the turbos much (as in not raced anywhere), took it out on monday and the boost gauge now only goes half way between 0 and +14 so 7 whereas before it went right to +14. Whats broken this time? :(

Bought a Black 1991 TT Manual with leather import last night :dance: Needs a few bits doing, Cats are shot, prop bearing vibration, paintwork tidying up, dropped into safty boost a couple of times so need to investigate and full service with cam belt and bits. Very happy so far, let the spending begin!!!! :D:dance::D
