Just been told a have no bonus coming to me this year, and as i depend on that to pay may own tax twice a year, i am going to be in the mire quite soon. Million Dollar Question Coming: A few of you on here have seen my car in the flesh, what would be a price you would put on it. Thinking poss quick sale or hold out for as much as i think this car is truly worth [but the tax man may not like it] I am gutted to say the least and when i have read other threads like this one and the member states that he/she feels sick i really appreciate the statement as i feel sick and shakey. There is no possibility of mortgage top ups or loans, so the only thing we…

While doing my zed project I've managed to shear off a few bolts :mac1: With metric being what it is I'm having real difficulty in working out the taps and dies that I need for the most common sizes on the zed. I'd like to build up a set that would cover most, if not all sizes of taps and dies used on the zed. However, the ones I need the quickest are taps for the wing bolt holes (top ones) and a tap for the hydraulic arm threads in the boot lid. Can anyone point me in the right direction or let me know the details of the taps/dies I will need for the zed i.e size/pitch ect. Many thanks Dave

I am in the process of selling my Zed but three faults are making this difficult. The third of these is with the MILEOMETER/ODOMETER. They were both working OK when I bought the car three years ago but about 18 months ago they both stopped working for no apparent reason. I had a look at them when I removed the clock cluster a year or so ago but could see no obvious reason why they had stopped working. CAN ANYONE ADVISE WHAT THE CAUSE/REMEDY FOR THIS PROBLEM MIGHT BE? Regards - Dave

I am in the process of selling my Zed but three faults are making this difficult. The second of these is with the AIR CONDITIONING. The air conditioning had never worked since I bought the Zed, so about 18 months ago I got Kwik-Fit to re-gas the system. All seemed OK, their equipment showed ‘no leakage’ and the air cooled perfectly.........for about a month! It then gradually became less effective so I took it back to Kwik-Fit under their guarantee and they retested and regassed the system, again stating there were ‘no leaks’. All was fine again for a few weeks then the cooling gradually became less effective again. I took it back to Kwik-Fit who said that, as their …

I am in the process of selling my Zed but three faults are making this difficult. The first of these is with the WATER TEMPERATURE GUAGE. A year or so ago I removed the clock cluster to fit some different clock faces and also to examine the fuel gauge which was not working. I removed the cables from the cluster and cleaned the connectors, also removing the needles ready to replace the clock faces. Unfortunately the clock faces would not fit so I replaced the needles and refitted the cluster. Happily the fuel gauge now worked OK but when the engine was running the water temperature gauge slowly crept up to maximum. I have driven the Zed a thousand miles or so since th…

Is that a good sign it's split!?... knackered!?... or are they greased up when fitted?? I'm guesing they should be dry?? Got some poly ones on order.... much of a job to change???

the bumper is off the car, ive jsut swapped my steering wheel, and realised i have no wire there for the horn, in the steering wheel, and if i look outside, there is no wire going to the horn itself? now on the horn itself, there seems to be just 1 connection to it, does several wires go from that 1 connector? or isit just 1 wire, which i can route to the horn itself (asume be a posotive) then the boss acts a negative?

Keep umming and arring over fitting a set of JDM contoured mudflaps. I know they look pretty good on dark coloured cars, but sometimes don't look too great on lighter coloured cars. Here are some body coloured ones on a silver car. Now they are just the fronts. I'd be adding the plastic stone chip film over the top of the forward facing surfaces so as not to chip off the paint. Then there's going down the stock route of fitting them unpainted....

thought i would use my newly acquired SLR camera ... holiday and editorial photo's are gonna rock :D anyway these boost jets that were in the car when i bought it are finally out................... SHOCKING!!!!!!!!!!:mac1: after i took these out and replaced them with some piping connectors santa and myself went for a spin. now the car goes to safety boost only. It still has the engine missing at high revs so now we are thinking that when the boost controller was taken out the wastegate solenoid was not connected properly, would you lot all agree this is the case? Me and santa are worried because surely with safety…

Ive just bought an original stillen nose panel but on the label, it says that you need to follow the instructions supplied with it, to make sure it is painted correctly. Unfortunately, i never got the instructions with it. Just wondering if anyone on here has a copy of them? Thanks
