  2. Firstly my appologies for not having introduced myself properly before jumping on the forum and asking for advice. I'll post a complete introduction thread with pics shortly, showing where I am with my own personal ride (Z32 TT) as well as the other projects that I'm running with (Help For Heroes charity Z32-Z31 hybrid and three Z31's - NA's & Turbo) more details to follow: I'm a bit stuck now as to where to go with a legal battle that I've been trying to sort out over the last year or so. Back in Dec '06 (Christmas day in fact), I was seriously injured in Iraq and was casevac'd back to the UK. To cut a long story short, 13 months after being injured …

Hi, i have just startd the process of removing my auto box as it died a couple of months ago. I dont want to take any chances with posible contamination (if thats what damaged the old box) so i will fit an new oil cooler for the autobox, pipes and torue converter. When i disconnet the old feeds to the rad do i have to block them off or can i just leave them (i thought these were at the bottom of the water rad) but i have one at the bottom and one about 2 thirds the way both on the passenger side - i removed the nose panel and there is an additional cooler already mounted - the pipes to this go the other way (drivers side) would this be an engine oil cooler - if so wh…

After finding out my TPS was dead at Surrey rolling road (cheers topless) Sourced a good working one from Corvetteman (cheers again) Now fitted and properly adjusted, best i could get was 0.42 volts on idle, just seems to run a bit better and smoother. have adjusted the base idle, and cleaned a couple of connectors, Result = not using as much fuel as before, and engine is much more responsive.......... Just need to do O2 sensors............ Worth investigating.

Million Dollar Question Coming: A few of you on here have seen my car in the flesh, what would be a price you would put on it. Thinking poss quick sale or hold out for as much as i think this car is truly worth [but the tax man may not like it] I am gutted to say the least and when i have read other threads like this one and the member states that he/she feels sick i really appreciate the statement as i feel sick and shakey. While doing my zed project I've managed to shear off a few bolts :mac1: With metric being what it is I'm having real difficulty in working out the taps and dies that I need for the most common sizes on the zed. I'd like to build up a set that would cover most, if not all sizes of taps and dies used on the zed. However, the ones I need the quickest are taps for the wing bolt holes (top ones) and a tap for the hydraulic arm threads in the boot lid. Can anyone point me in the right direction or let me know the details of the taps/dies I will need for the zed i.e size/pitch ect. Many thanks Dave

I am in the process of selling my Zed but three faults are making this difficult. The third of these is with the MILEOMETER/ODOMETER. They were both working OK when I bought the car three years ago but about 18 months ago they both stopped working for no apparent reason. I had a look at them when I removed the clock cluster a year or so ago but could see no obvious reason why they had stopped working. CAN ANYONE ADVISE WHAT THE CAUSE/REMEDY FOR THIS PROBLEM MIGHT BE? Regards - Dave

I am in the process of selling my Zed but three faults are making this difficult. The second of these is with the AIR CONDITIONING. The air conditioning had never worked since I bought the Zed, so about 18 months ago I got Kwik-Fit to re-gas the system. All seemed OK, their equipment showed ‘no leakage’ and the air cooled perfectly.........for about a month! It then gradually became less effective so I took it back to Kwik-Fit under their guarantee and they retested and regassed the system, again stating there were ‘no leaks’. All was fine again for a few weeks then the cooling gradually became less effective again. I took it back to Kwik-Fit who said that, as their …
