hi guys I just had one of the Driftworks hicas eliminator kits fitted. but the car is pulling all over the shop and of course alignment is needed now iv been quoted a few prices for laser alignment assuming the hicas is still in place. Now being as it removed shouldnt the cost of alignment be cheaper? iv been quoted around 110 - 140 for this but also just 35 pounds if they are able to adjust it like regular cars. So with the hicas eliminator kit in place im assuming the cost is cheaper as less work is needed for adjustments? I dont know

Starting to get a slight surging, on starting from cold , not noticable untill i pull away then holding the throtal at 30mph, would the throtal bodies need a clean or could it be a leaking air line its a n/a

Anyone know which fuse covers the front fog lamps, I have obviously blown mine during a bulb change and now they both do not work. I trust its in the footwell box as well, that is why I am asking.

well have you's lol if it dont go for for the price i have in mind, im gonna remove the sump on my week off, and try and repair, failing that then i will strip it and keep the good parts incase i ever get another zed

I really like these rear lights but would they be legal here without a reflector as per oem lights ? Could this be got round with stick-on reflectors on the bumber for example ? :confused: Hi, firstly i'd like to thank all you guys for your advice yesterday about my sidelights/headlights not working. I found the fuse box by the accel checked all 10amps which look fine to my anoyance! I thought i'd just check the rest while i was there & found a 15amp that had blown, turns out that this was inline with the after market fog lamp. I replaced the fuse & found the fog working now but sidelights stuck on with no dash & switch in off position?? Dose the Z have a parking switch which i havent stumbled on? Regards Matt

When i am in neutral my rev's are a little under 1000rpm, but when i put her in gear with the clutch pressed in they increase very slightly, is this normal, or does it mean throwing more money at her. cheers, Dom

This weekend thinking of starting the removal of the engine for a rebuild. i cant find a very good engine removal guide? or is it that simple there isnt one? lol. ill be doing this on my drive, is it even possible without lifting the car in the air? its an auto aswell does that change anything? im going to be hiring a crane when it comes to the big pull will i need any adapters for the crane to engine etc?? Hi again, just wanted to ask if everyones Z is a nightmare to drive in the wet, mine is useless i have to go everywhere slow, even if the roads are just slighty damp i'am going sideways, although when i am on my own its not a prob as i love it, buts its not so good with the missus & boy in the car. i'am not new to rwd turbo cars. My tryes have been stretched onto the rim, they are 235, with quite a large stretch, seems very small for the type of car any suggestions other then learn to drift, which by the way i am getting very good at lol.

how far on my turbo gauge should the needle go? i have (diagram) | | | | | | | -7 . . 0 . . +7 my car was half way between 0 and +7 however after a couple of tightenings i go just past the next indicator (one more | before +7) i know that the gauges can be naff however i would still actually like to know regardless :tongue: cheers all

Hi all, My car (Radrons) has the Z centre Electric fan kit on it with the Z1 Howe Radiator. Now I believe the fan is set to come on around 85-88 Deg C. The Fan is pretty much on all of the time once the Engine gets to temp and seems to run on for approx 10-15 mins after the car is switched off. The temp Guage (Stock) sticks pretty much in the Centre although I know these are unreliable. Now I think the engine is probably running a little hot and after doing some searching on here it seems that people have reverted back to the Viscous unit and that this seems to provide better results in terms of overall running temp. So is this the case or sho…

Hi people, My zed will not start today, not turning or firing. I am getting just a click from a connector in the footwell fuse box location. I think it is alarm related, as yesterday the alarm kept going of for no reason and the indicators would not flash when arming/disarming, and when the ignition was on and the left or right indicator was selected, they both flashed, and now the alarm will not arm at all. So, what is the easiest way to disarm the alarm altogether? Cheers, Al.

Hi all, my matey has always wanted a focus ST and has now bought a lovely looking one. Been in it and it feels fast.. even with 5 peeps in the car the turbo on that thing really pulls. It feels quicker than mine however i didn;t know if this was because his is manual and my 300zx is auto. I know my 300zx is still fairyl quick except for it's boost leak at higher revs however i would like to know what these things are like compared to 300zx's anyone raced these. he is a nice chap and i have given him nothing but good comments with his car (as you do) however now he has gotten a bit cocky and demands i race him to 60 - 70 on the motorway. i'm starting to worr…
