My gearstick surround bracket rubber had broken at both ends allowing the gearstick to be pushed down causing it quite hard to select gears, I ordered a new one via zedworld and fitted it last night. the car feels totally different like its had a new gearbox or something, well chuffed.

a few months ago one of the tension rods i purchased from ebay snapped as i went over a speed bump, luckily i was going slow and i was only a few minutes from my house. they had been on the car for about 6 month before it snapped. didnt realise until today how poor they actually were. today i got my delivery of new powertrix ones and as you will see from the pics they are alot bigger in diameter plus the overall quality is much better, thought i should post this incase anyone else has these just as a warning to them, also i know i shouldnt have went for the cheap option in the first place but hey you learn from your mistakes at least it didnt prove to costly after it…

I should be in California right now.....then onward to Branson Z fest in Missouri. Cancelled due to personal problems, but still wished I'd gone. Now looking at Z1 Nationals Day in Atlanta. A show I've wanted to go to for a long time now. I dunno, but have a wild idea. Will fly out to Atlanta and take a coach down to Savannah for a few days (one of my favourite places on the east coast), then get the coach back before flying from Atlanta to Memphis to meet up with 3ZC Administrator TnKrsToyco (Steve Fowler) who I know pretty well (had a blast at the MidwestZfest in Oklahoma last year!) before making the 2 day trip by road in Steve's vert to Carrollton (GA) to Z1…

Have been aware of the smell of fumes with both the z32,s i have had whilst driving around with the t tops off,but never really bothered me. But tonight i had just cleaned the car and had a text of my daughter to pick her up from her mates, well car just washed and had the tops off cleaning them so instead of jumping into the galaxy sped off in the z. When i collected my daughter and drove the mile or so back she kept moaning about her eyes stinging and the smell! Is this usual? Is it the type of exhaust system i have, both cars had a mongoose system that only just protrudes from the rear bumper. Or could it be coming from under the bonnet?? A…

my engine has started to knock, i have tried changing the oil and so on, bt ive had it to my bro in law (senior technician at renault garage) and he thinks it could be bottom end, possibly shells (if im lucky lol), if i rev the engine you get the knok, hold the revs and it goes, also i get a slight tapping knock starting at 2500-3000 rpm, when we were checking the engine he removed the coilpack and it stopped knocking, put it back on and it started again, he says he is just taking away the pressure so as its not firing, only did this with one coil pack what are my options, do you think it could be just bottom end shells????, if so anyone got any linkson how to do, is…

Really worried now so i have abandoned the car at work for now........ changed oil two weks ago and still has plenty of oil....... any ideas...... is it rebuild time? The tappet does not sound as fast as a piston cycle . sounds half the speed... is this a lifter or worse?

I just wanted to ask the question to get some idea of what people think. I love hicas its a brilliant system and in the past its been a life saver for sure. Iv seen Hicas blamed for poor stabilty etc but more often than not this has been caused by other reasons when investigations have been done. Whats every one else think? Daz.

After all the tears and blood over the years i dont get many of these moments. Driving her for about 10mins earlier everything came to together! No creaks, knocking, hesitation nothing but me, the Z and open road in perfect harmany. Really needing the money and putting the Z for sale yesterday, already getting bad feelings about it. It looks like my n/s turbo seals are on their way out, blue smoke on idle etc. So my question is what is the easiest way of repairing it? How easy is it to remove the turbo's. Probably better to do both, what price am i looking at?

I have had these refurbed and as soon as i get my subscribed status back i will put up some photos! I was going to keep hold of these as they are super rare and do look stunning, however seeing as my AP Racing brakes dont fit under my 18" Rims i dont think they will fit under these 17" ones!!! I am contemplating whether to get a different brake setup or sell these alloys and my 18" Enkei Phelanx's and get a set of 19" Rims? What do you guys reckon? Any suggestions on different Alloys or Brakes?
