Im having a problem my z clutch is very heavy its stage 3 xtd clutch kit but even in the stock clutch it was heavy and i cant shift is fast from 1 to 2nd gear Alpha7 R35

I noticed on starting the Zed for the first time in a fortnight that my front indicators were not working. As usual, I checked the bulbs, as it's on both sides, the relay, the indicator stalk and fuses. All seems OK. The hazards work fine and as normal, and on the fronts also which eliminates the bulbs being the issue, or corroded bulb holders. I also noticed that when I put the indicators on, it clicks twice as fast which may indicate a short somewhere, but where? Any ideas anyone? The back light indicators and side indicators also blink twice as fast. Something is not happy but what?

Am I making this up or did certain later cars have improved lower front arms that had lattice work on the underside?

Sorry for the cheesy title! So I mentioned in my introduction last year, that I was moving house. It finally happened at the end of November, so I have been busy sorting out the garage...Screeding, building workbench, racking etc. I have decided to do a build thread so I can keep track of my work/reference, and also for anyone who may be interested. This is my third series 4 I've encountered and they are still surprising me with subtle changes. Today I removed the inner plastics to get the bumper off and I discovered this mechanism. This series 4 has a remote fob and a boot popper but I didn't expect the cabling of the boot and petrol flap to be completely different. The cable also runs under and across the rear seats and comes to the boot from the passenger side rather than the drivers.

Hi! Had my rear subframe and fuel tank out in order to sort out some of the older flakey underseal around the rear of the car as a bit of a winter project, at the stage to reinstall my rear subrframe but I'm a bit lost when it comes to the HICAS steering ram at the rear, is it just a case of connecting the two input pipes and bleeding the system ? If so what is the procedure ? Many Thanks Will

Not sure if it's been thought about or even done but I was chatting with a few mates the other night about the Z. I have the N/A and was thinking power gains etc. Is it possible to mount a single super charger or two super chargers to the car? If so how and what would be the best one/s to use? finding it hard to find out the solution for getting the cruise working again. was removed when i did the manual conversion but with all the miles im doing in her lately i wanna get it working again. (along with wanting all the buttons to work xD) i know iv read stuff before but have no idea where is was and cant find it D: dunno if its gunna be a case of tricking the old system or installing a manual gearbox c/c ecu?? thanks for any advice :3

Im looking to underseal the zed again and thinking of going back to bare metal But after some sanding back under the wheel arches on the chassis There seems to be a yellow rubberised paint thats on the steel under the paint What is this stuff? Is it painted on seam sealer? Should i be removing this or leave it on? Is it only in the arches or is it all over the underside

This could be a very obvious question but which series of zed is the best mechanically electrically and best for the user? Excluding the 1999 spec.

Hi all, hopefully someone can help. I have searched and have a few ideas but just want to see whether there are any new fresh ideas from what I have read. On the way back out of London yesterday I noticed that when in gear it was idling a little high...but more strangely when I put it into N or P it rose to nearly 3000rpm, which made changing into gear somewhat sudden. I pulled over, revved a little and it fell down to under 1000 when idling but later it happened again. Hi there everyone!! last night when I got off a ride with the Z I noticed the original keychain I got when I bought the car in Italy by the dealer has broken. They don´t have this kecychain from Nissan dealer in Rome anymore. So this made me wonder; when you look for Nissan Keychains on Ebay or internet you get thousands of results from China, US...but I never seen a original dealer keychain like the ones they give you when you buy your car brand new. Say for example you buy a Nissan new at Norton way Nissan at Hertfordshire. Usually they sometimes give you a nice kecychain with the dealer´s logo on it. Hi everyone, been away for a while concentrating on family and work for a while as the Z funds ran dry... I managed to procure an original Nissan Consult unit and have successfully repaired it over the past month or so.... If anyone locally needs to use it then let me know if I can help..... and you can either pop round or I maybe able to come to you.... The fuel lines on my zed are corroded and need replacing, ive seen some nylon tubing People have used also stainless pipe There is also one other pipe that goes to the carbon canister i believe behind the front bumper Has anyone replaced theirs im taking about the hard pipesthat run from the fuel tank to the Front of the car

So door cards off today and I find this little module. Never seen it before and i'm thinking its to do with the remote alarm fob. Any ideas ?

hi all, back again for advice and any info. well after spending hours and hours removing the plenum to do the delete and clean my injectors i noticed one of the injector ceramic caps had cracked. is there anywhere i can buy the cap also i would like to replace all o-rings. any advice and info would be appreciated. phil
