My windscreen washer bottle emptied itself whilst parked I obviously know the filler pipe is in the boot. Where is the actual bottle and the pump? Ie do I remove boot trim or wheel arch cover or somewhere else?

I got a nice set of custom exhausts made in the week they look and sound the bollcoks

Hi everyone i have a problem with my gear box recently while driving the gears are dont want to change and when decide to change will change in about 4k and as well noticed today the power light is on while driving on A/T so i presume is swiching itself on power mode ? i did done gear box check and is no code showing any one can help thank you kamil

This is me in the 80's with my Red 280ZX, I had a couple of them back then, a cool blue 260Z and at one time a left hand drive US imported 240Z in silver, God i wish i had kept them.....or at least a couple of photos... This is my brothers nut and bolt total restoration of a beautiful 240Z, got me back into the Zed scene... Then Purple Haze entered my life.... And now I have my shortie to play in....Project X the little minx... Just love these cars and always have......

Hello, my Hicas problem rose again. Now, I will search and finally find the problem but....I was thinking about a solution that might suit several people. Is there anybody who knows how the Hicas and/or non-hicas PS-ECU deals with the different signals? I mean, both systems have parking-brake, brake, clutch, inibitor-switch, steering-angle, speed-sensor attached to it. I wonder why? Speedsensor I can understand but not the others. So, suppose I do delete the hicas-system as many others did, what do I do with the ecu? If I take it out I do loose the power-steering wich I don't want. Is there some sort of piggybag solution? Is there anybody who ever tried to make a …

Anyone know why my indicators would now only work on one side (passenger) and not at all on the drivers side? Even when the hazards are on, it's just the one side that works. I have checked the 10A fuses in the footwell, the relay seems fine. The bulb holders and wiring seem fine also. It's typical. Tomorrow is MOT time, and yet at the weekend they were fine! Any thought appreciated.

Anybody ever seen this before ? My painter showed me the rear bumper to what looks like heat bumps and advised to change it out for a smoother one if I can find it. Looks as if the shape of the rear end has went wonky in the sun at some point.

so this morning i decided to tidy up my boot build, i've never been happy with the position of the amp and never really got round to relocating it, so it's now under the boot floor i'm still not sure if i'm going to keep the sub or find something smaller like the slimline subs. and same same with the carputer project great bit of kit but still not sure if i'm going to keep it or move back to a single or double din unit. i do need to either replace or make new boot floor panels as the old ones are a little past their best. so i've gone from this to this (yes i know it needs to be hoovered)

Hi Gents, I need to replace the rear track rod ends. is there a kit out there that removes these ? My Hicas has been locked out with a brace so no need for a true track rod end. It failed on this Nearside Rear Outer Suspension arm has excessive play in a track control arm inner bush bush in hub Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Adam

hi guys bit of a quick one my number plate bracket has been attacked by tin termites and is falling apart as i want to eep an original one on there, is the JDM & U.S version of this part the same? part number 96212-30P00 also does the front bumper need to come off to fit it?

hi Guys, im fixing a crack on my bumper and have done the fibre glass on the back but was wondering what type of filler to use on the front, as well as on other defects (now i've cleaned off the non hardened plastic filler.) The reason i ask is that while sanding back, the existing filler used on top of the grp/gelcoat whatever you call it, resembles the std filler used on solid structures, P38/Upol/bondo etc. i mean the plastic filler is pricey and the P38 type is not. Opinions please.

Hi all, About 6 months ago i bought a second hand race logic traction control system and i am looking to get it installed/install it. The harness appears to be in good condition, with minimal cutting in its removal by the previous owner bar a few wires, and a full write up is available on how to install the unit but the only issue i have is not being 100% sure that the harness is as it should be and with my lack of electrical knowledge i thus would not want to self-install without assurance it is all as it should be and then can follow the guide easily.. Ive tried to find complete wiring diagrams to follow to make sure everything is as should be but cannot find mu…

Who's successfully re-trimmed their interior rear quarter panels (the upper parts that go saggy)? I'm looking to do mine and took it to my local trim shop as I figured they'd be able to match the vinyl and fit it correctly with heat and the correct adhesive. Alas, no, they advised that the material and manufacture technique would mean that they'd not be able to get the right match or fitment and showed me some swatches. The stuff they use is proper seat vinyl which is about half a MM thick and would not cover correctly and the grain wouldn't match nor the colour. Has anyone successfully done this? Hello good people of the 300zx forum I am in need of replacing the nock sensor, I have taken out the fuel injectors and under that is a block held down by 6 bolts however 2 of the bolts are hidden behind a steel pipe which I have no idea where it leads to so I'm asking does anyone know? Hi all, Have a coolant leak behind engine. I can see where its from, its from a 1/4 inch metal pipe that goes through a 90 degree bend and joins a 1/2 inch metal pipe. Its underneath the two electrical connectors that unclip, about 5 inches below. Theres a pin hole right on the 90 degree elbow. Didnt leak to start with, but had idling on the drive for 10 minutes, switched it off and water was spurting out. I can see on the 1/4 inch side it goes into a rubber hose, so thats easy to come off. However the 1/2 inch pipe dissapears, one side to behind drivers side head, the other side disapears down towards the ground. Question I have is how easy is it to rep…
