  1. Would need to see some pics Gary:thumbup1:
  2. Holy crap!! He must keep his tyre guys happy
  3. I'd keep the LWB and park up the slickkie, start buying a few bits and pieces when they come up or when you have funds available, do it bit by bit and hold onto both of them:thumbup1:
  4. Measured the internal bore
  5. Can't personally say on the Topspeed, but if you look in my build thread, there was a link to eBay ones that I was going to buy, However they weren't 2.5", they turned out to be 2.25" and I felt the difference would be negligible, so I bit the bullet and got myself a true 3" system from CZP:thumbup1:
  6. It's 9.30, surely you have them fitted by now, Car is super slick Si:thumbup:
  7. Fantastic work as always Andy, Are you not going to have to strip it out again for your respray??
  8. You my friend are a true professional, can't wait to have all my bits done in a high quality leather:yes: No puns please:thumbup:
  9. Hi Lee, I think it was the R34 calipers came with 14mm bolts instead of the usual 12mm ones that are on the R32-33 and 300zx. You just have to drill the mounting points out to 14mm ??
  10. I was thinking the same, if like James (Jjp) and the insurance just took the car and scrapped it without letting you buy it back, you could stand to lose a lot of trick parts/cash.
  11. Welcome back James, I'd say it feels good to be back in one, I think it looks well in white with the 99 spec front:thumbup1:
  12. They're looking "Bloody marvellous" matey!!
  13. Ah man!! I'm truly gutted for ya Dan, I was enjoying all your little updates and have followed this build from the start:no::no: Is it salvageable?? can it be rebuilt?? As others have said get it back to the shed and leave it a couple of days, hopefully the insurance will let you hold onto it and you can either recoup some of your costs or transfer the lot into a new shell if its not fixable. I don't think anyone on here would be happy to see such a beautiful machine smashed up, i wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy mate. Really feel for you bud
  14. I personally can't see a problem with anything the committee has done, I wouldn't be able to give up 3-4 days to commit to a car show, Kudos to those that can:thumbup:. So there was an oversight in notifying everyone, no biggy unless you wanted to be there, but with only 4 spots and two award winning Z's already through, limited volunteers, certain models required to showcase the car, it really does narrow down the final two choices. This event is about highlighting and raising awareness of the Marque and the Club!! No conspiracies that I can see, bickering on here just looks petty to the majority of GUESTS, that are looking on here everyday (15 members and 114 guests at this very moment), that's 114 possible members that are looking at bickering and squabbling members!! Who'd want to get involved in that!!. It's a fecking car club, not a government!! No offence Chris but from where I'm sitting, (at times) you seem to be a bit of a "Drama Queen", always looking to pick holes in and then argue with committee decisions (I can recall another thread regarding contributions?). I feel the decisions made are for the good of the club as a whole and not for the individual, which is how it should be. Just my opinion. Richie K out.
  15. Think they're a straightforward bolt on caliper bud, I await the experts to say otherwise but think you should be ok:thumbup1: You might have to widen the holes and you have to run 17" wheels or larger:thumbup:
  16. Sweet vid, engine bay looks really clean, what are the plugs that sit behind the headlights Dan?? I'm thinking of tidying them away but have to see what they are first:thumbup:
  17. Hi guys, so my accordion pipe was split again, anyone have one kicking about??
  18. So today, I stripped the turbos down and switched the ancillaries across to my GT525's, fitted new copper washers to all the turbo water pipes, hoping to have everything back together for the end of next week:thumbup1:
  19. Nice job matey:thumbup: fire a a few pics further back from the car, they look really well from all angles:thumbup:
  20. Got the manifold and drivers side turbo off, also noticed I have 40p heads, these are the good ones or are they the ones that give trouble? Also noticed the lads had split my drivers side accordion pipe:thumbdown: anyone got one spare??
  21. Back down at the car today, treated the battery tray with some Rust Remedy, degreased the engine bay and removed all the old HICAS mounting brackets, I'll need to fill the holes to tidy it up. Quick question, what are these connections for and where do people move them to when decluttering the engine bay??
  22. I'd love to get this done at some stage, Top work by a Top man:thumbup:
  23. The RPS Flywheel is one of the best flywheels available to the Z32, Specialty Z are so happy with the RPS that they're now working together with the SZ-RPS clutches, they even state on their own site that the flywheel was so good they couldn't improve upon them:thumbup:
