  4. I have a similar Halfords "Professional" kit, got it back in '03-'04, have a few broken hex head's, the little ratchet plays up a bit and one of the locking latches is gone but Halfords Carlow has asked me to bring it in and they'll replace them under their "Lifetime Warranty". Can't fault that service:thumbup:
  5. :happybday: Happy birthday matey, have a great day:happybday:
  6. Bargain of the year so far Gaz, they retail at something like £130-£150!! I wonder if they've any more??
  7. Not really, they're on a few 350z's etc:thumbup1:
  8. Welcome to the Club Charles, any info/pics of your car?
  9. Jay, they look like the newer version of my Veilside Andrews, think they're called Veilside Andrews Evolution (Evo) 5's. Jason Farrow has a set on here:thumbup1:
  10. :happybday: Happy Birthday buddy, hope you have a great day:thumbup::happybday:
  11. Jimmer had a look at my ones last Saturday and seemed quite pleased with them:thumbup1: Maybe it was the fact that he wouldn't have to splice bits and pieces together to get all the electrical gremlins ironed out:wink: I'm sure he'll let us know what he thinks:thumbup1: When I organised the Group Buy it was because people were happy with their looms they'd purchased previously and recommended them here on this forum.
  12. They still do them in RHD buddy:thumbup:
  13. Had a quick search and found this from 2010... Postby Wiring Specialties » Thu Feb 04, 2010 1:09 pm The connectors are actually the toughest part. It is very easy to have them made in China in a few thousand or somewhere else in the East. However, quality is the issue i could not work with. If you guys have used the harness from ebay that is a knock-off of the stock S13, you know what i am talking about. They are OK, but not good enough. So the only option for us was to import connectors directly from the OEM manufacturers in Japan - Nisin. They only work with the OEM manufacturers and are impossible to work with. In any case, the only ECU connectors that are still available are the late model units (S15, R34, late RX7s, etc), which are being used on our harnesses. 100% OEM. It took 8 months to just set up the deal with them and pricing is much higher than the copies. I guess its the same as many of the opther products out there. Not sure if its possible to get things from the dealer in the US as it would not have worked for us. We are planning on importing a few core connectors for sale as well, so they will be up on the site when we do. Pics coming. Thanks Yury Im at work at the minute so am restricted to what I can do, but I can email the guy's any concerns you may have bud:thumbup1:, They also state that they are made in the USA and are individually tested on a Test Jig? Leave it with me :thumbup1:
  14. Joel has one fitted mate, I don't think this is true (I could be wrong though), as when I was discussing the value of the looms for duties, Jeff told me he was going to value it at the cost that WS could make them for?? Are they not the suppliers of the CZP looms??
  15. Yup, as in I've put a deposit on it, will have it by the end of January:thumbup:
  16. Welcome to the Club Chris, plenty of help, advice and parts etc. on here, nice looking Z buddy:thumbup:
  17. Got back to Keith's for 4.30pm today and I have to say, he doesn't hang about!!:bow: Rear lights out, rear bumper off and Twinz rear test fitted. We then went out for a meal with everyone, I'd like to thank Keith, Emma, Stefan, Morgan and Ellie for making us feel so welcome, they extended their hospitality until nearly midnight before we hooked up the trailer and headed for Holyhead, you guys have made friends for life with myself and Jo, you're welcome in our home in Ireland anytime  The guys were good enough to give us a bit of "Off-Road / Greenlaning" on the way to the restaurant :tt2::lol: This is what they reckon a road is!! The wing mirrors on the jeep were touching the hedges on both sidea:lol: Cheers again guys for a lovely weekend, we honestly do hope to repay the favour later on in the year:thumbup:
  18. Going to be busy for the next 3 months trying to get as much money together to keep the lads going:thumbup:
  19. What a day we had yesterday, off the ferry at 5.30am, Google maps loaded up, junction closed on the A55, so Google redirects us to travel over the mountains on narrow roads with sharp bends with a triple axle 5m trailer!!:scared: Heavy fog:scared: Went the Bets y Conaed route, 6.30am, met a patrol car with the blues on and a car wreck balanced precariously in a ditching. 7.20am, had to pull in for a nap as we'd only gotten 3.5 hours on the ferry (all I'd had since Weds night). 8.30am, woke up in daylight with a missed message from Keith, a quick 30min spin later and we were sitting down having a steaming cup of sugary tea in Keith's living room:clap:. Jo stayed inside chatting while Keith, myself and his two lads went about unloading the Z. 4 hours later and we were still chatting, laughing and devising cunning plans:biggrin:. Was too busy and excited to get any fecking photos:thumbdown:. We said farewell to Keith and the lads at 1pm, Stopped at a Toby's in Shrewsbury for lunch and a recharge, 2.30pm headed for Bristol and Jimmer's :thumbup1: Arrived at 6pm and spent another hour and a half unloading parts and chatting away. Between meeting these two great lads, I finally feel that after all the mishap and mayhem, there's finally a light at the end of the tunnel:thumbup: Got back to Shrewsbury for 9.30pm, checked in got some fish and chips (from a frigging Chinese takeaway:scared:). Just up now, having brekkie and planning a day with Jo as she got to do nothing yesterday. Then it's back to Keith's for the trailer and ferry home at 2.55am:thumbup1: I
  20. Well!! I've had one hell of a rough day! Did a 25 hour work through yesterday, got home at 9.30am, dropped the boss to work, got a text to say the fast ferry's been cancelled for tomorrow morning, we've to go on the slow one instead, only thing is the slow ferry leaves at 1.40am Sunday mornings :scared:, wouldn't have had time to stop for a pee let alone food and drink:scared:, Jo's a travel agent so sorted it that we're on the 1.55am crossing tonight/tomorrow  She got them to throw in a cabin so we'll be able to get a few hours sleep. The return crossing is at 1.40am Monday to give us some breathing space, it'll get into Dublin around 5am, get back home for 7ish and then I've to head straight to work 30 miles away for 8am, Jo is in for 10 Monday. Started pulling and sorting all the bits and pieces, had to collect the trailer at 3.30pm, got back with it and the wheels were going to scrape the sides, had to phone them up, organise a larger trailer and drive back the 15 miles to switch them, pressure was then on as I had no straps, the gearbox was still at the garage, as was the car, half done due to running all over the place. Just finished packing everything up and I'm shattered  On the road for 11.30pm tonight:scared: Still we get an extra few hours to take out time. Here she is all packed up... Keith, I'll be seeing you at breakfast instead of lunch:tt2:
  21. That vert looks really tidy, and the green one looks like a nice machine if you dump the BGW:thumbup1:
  22. Mines booked in for a "spa day" that's going to last a couple of months:thumbup: Body refresh with Keith and a heart transplant with Jimmer. Santa also managed to sort out a Stillen rear brace, a brand new heater matrix and a Tokyo Auto front strut brace, not to mention the new wiring + transmission looms, 740cc Tomei's, GT500 tubs and low mileage engine:innocent: Have a set of Brembo 18z calipers and brackets on the way also:clap:
  23. Right guys, trailer and ferry booked for Saturday morning, looking at booking the Holiday Inn in Shrewsbury for Saturday night, would this be ok?? :whistling:anyone up for a beer??:whistling:
  24. Nice work Lee:thumbup1: When is she in for paint??
  25. Thanks Tom, basically we've got an hour and a half drive to Keith's and then a 4-5 hour drive down to Jimmer's, so the whole of Saturday is driving, I then have to head back to Keith's to pick up the trailer and then onto Holyhead. We were thinking of driving back up towards Keith's from Bristol and stopping at a Premier Inn etc roughly half way between Jimmer's and Keith's, do a bit of sight seeing (plus traditional fresh cod and chips with mushy peas:drool:),
