  1. Now that’s what the Z community should be about, people helping out friends in need, not ripping off, or slagging off each other. Huge respect to Jimmer for this charitable gesture:clap:
  2. Last night I couldn’t sleep with the heat and there was no air movement outside, eerily quiet, calm before the storm I suppose, still bad enough here, hoping it’ll blow over by 3am :thumbup1:
  3. Not great here, I’ve had the fascia ripped off the front and tiles pulled off the roof. A lady in Waterford died when a tree fell on her car, I took an FM from work but mrs had to go in only to be told to go home at 1pm, just when the weather was getting really bad. It was quite scary driving in to collect her, branches being blown through the air! There’s muppets going out in it to have a look endangering frontline staff who then have to go out to rescue them!!! WTF!! People looking to go kite surfing!! People looking to go swimming!! I’d leave them there, play stupid games, win stupid prizes!
  4. :innocent::whistling: I have a "Not so Pristine 1989" Jap spec Factory manual swb TT :innocent::whistling: Could do with some help making it for 2019:whistling::thumbup:
  5. Honestly don't know what to say, I hate to see this, there's not many people left in the Zed scene who you can say is 100% trust worthy, feels like its getting fewer and fewer each year:no: I myself have been quiet enough on here lately (but have been seeing the amount of nastiness and hatred between mostly UK Z people on Facebook). For that reason I'm considering getting out of this scene altogether and going back to two wheeled fun, there's no drama with bikers:scooter:
  6. That's why Jimmer and Powerzed are my number one choice, he goes the extra mile and his dedication to these cars and their owners can't be faulted:clap:
  7. That's real dedication there Gaz:thumbup1: Great job, wheels look like new :punk:
  8. Great job on the targas Graham, could you tell me if it's expensive to ship down to Bristol? Message me if ya like? I've the car in Wales at Keith's place but hoping to get her down to Jimmer shortly:thumbup1:
  9. Nice find bud
  10. Nice pad :thumbup1: The lights really finish it off nicely
  11. Only seeing this now, looks like a fantastic trip to take, love the colour of Andrews car when the sun is bouncing off it:punk: This pic in particular I'd kind of lost the love for my car again as it's still in Wales but seeing those cars out in the sun has made me motivated again:thumbup:
  12. Happy Birthday buddy, hope you have a great day
  13. And there's me thinking that "Time for a change" was you selling the C63 and going to something more extravagant :scared: I've been on (and off) this forum for 12 years and have never heard a bad word said about Jimmer, that's why my engine and bits are down with him:thumbup1: Not sure what's going on and not sure I want to know either:innocent:
  14. If you want them polished, i can see if my guy would be up for it Jay??
  15. It's looking fantastic Lee, unfortunately I cannot advise on the engine work, I'm not engine proficient, I've given mine to Jimmer. I really do admire your "can do" attitude buddy, it looks awesome
  16. I've had the site blocked by IT in work, so I only get to see bits when I'm off:thumbdown: that, plus I'm working more hours:scared:
  17. My money's on Ali being top of the chart by 2020 :thumbup:
  18. How do you rotate pics ??
  19. Thanks for the birthday wishes guys, spent the whole day washing / waxing Jo's X-Trail and then power washed the driveway:wacko::wacko: Need my head testing  Had a nice evening, Chinese for dinner with a couple of glasses of cider to wash it down :innocent::lol:
  20. Nice one Graham, can't wait for the pics:thumbup1:
  21. Been a while, tonight I received my new rear brake caliper project:innocent: Will take me a while to piece together, but these will be stripped down, powdercoated and rebuilt for the red Zed. Same as my rears on the blue Zed Hopefully they'll come out similar:thumbup1:
  22. This will give you an idea Lee, the brackets fit onto the calipers and in turn the brackets bolt up to the original mounting points on the hubs, this "relocates" the calipers further back, allowing bigger discs. These are Evo 8 calipers, they work with 350mm Evo X discs:thumbup1:
  23. I'm going to exploit the "workers" in either the carpentry shop or trades building at work:innocent::shifty: Got them to knock up some high backed chairs for the kitchen last week and their work is tidy enough:thumbup: I'm thinking a few panels should be a walk in the park
  24. I've been thinking about doing them out of Perspex or ply ?? Can then be flocked or wrapped or carpeted? What do people reckon??
  25. He means caliper brackets Lee. These would move the calipers up more than where they mounted to the hub, the brackets bolt to the hub and the calipers bolt to the brackets:thumbup1:
