No worries pal:thumbup: regarding the Z, you've turned a 3 wheeled Z that you had to limp home 2 1/2 years ago, into a car that's up there with the very best the Club has to offer:punk:. The hard work and expensive part is now done and you can look forward to enjoying it:thumbup: It's taken me over two years to get my blue Z sorted also, think that's pretty much everyone's timeframe to bring these cars up to "reliable" level. Enjoy it mate, you've done the hard part, so just enjoy it:thumbup1: Where's the pics of the engine bay??:innocent:

Ah man, sorry to hear the Loom is not what I ordered, I'm presuming they're all like that?? I'll bang them an email later today. On another note... Why would you sell her now that you've finally got her fully finished? It's just maintenance now for the next while surely ? Any pics of the engine bay?? You happy with the finished look??

Richie's "Redzer" rebuild
Had an hour free yesterday, so removed the 2 nuts holding on the rear wheels and swapped them out for ones that had air in their tires:scared: Car is sitting high as there's no running gear in it for the foreseeable future:whistling:

Exhaust for SWB
Hey guys, I'm looking to gather up some of the bits needed to put this car back together. An exhaust and propshaft are the only things I can see being a problem, if anyone has one available, I'd be interested :whistling: Thanks

Richie's "Redzer" rebuild
Pulled the passenger carpet back at the ECU small patch of damp presumably from the water dripping over time but the seats and carpet are all dry now:thumbup: Sprayed some air freshener on the seats so there's a damp patch from it :thumbup1:

Richie's "Redzer" rebuild
Had a root around the car this evening, spoiler was your usual rubber sponge full of water :scared: Was half expecting the bootlid to be a rusted mess when I saw all the roots growing in it [ATTACH=CONFIG]106291[/::yes::::punk::tt2:::punk::punk:

Richie's "Redzer" rebuild
Away from the car at the minute, but will take you up on that Andrew :thumbup1: Pulled all the dirt and junk out of it and will be giving it a hoover and steam, the passenger window had been down an inch since God knows when, as it's got moss and grass growing on the passenger seat:scared: It was drying out quickly in the sunshine so should be able to clean it up fairly quickly, checked under the carpets which appear to be dry:thumbup1:

Richie's "Redzer" rebuild
Windows now fully closed, the starter was cable tied to the earth which was connected to thin air!! :innocent: When I connected the battery, they went up no problem but the lights etc remained on even after switching everything off:confused1::confused1: There is a switch on the inside of the headlight pod that was illuminated, nothing worked until I turned that off:scared: hardly a dead switch??

Look away Richie
Ha! I'm good thanks mate, it's NA and an Auto:tt2: body looks to be better kept though:whistling: Nice find Gaz, but I think that'll go for a lot more than £200 odd

Richie's "Redzer" rebuild
First imported and registered in Luton in 2002, Mot'd till '07. Cat C insurance write off due to being uneconomical to repair (Engine damage) in March '08:yes: Sure aren't they all uneconomical to  Solid enough everywhere except the sills, has the space saver spare, full head gasket kit and Viton valve stem seals sitting in the boot:thumbup1: The guy hooked up a power pack to let the window down and something sparked near the bottom of the engine ( probably the starter motor as it's disconnected from the gearbox) and I can't get the windows up??

Richie's "Redzer" rebuild
So, I'll probably regret this but what the hey!! Just home from a 600 km round trip to go fetch this:innocent::whistling: 1989 Factory manual TT SWB!! It's missing a few bits and has some rust, also has a "Noddy and Big Ears" themed engine bay:scared::thumbdown: Was running before it had its gearbox, diff, drive shafts, brakes and exhaust stripped off it:whistling: Needs a bonnet, new trims, and some paint and bodywork, but it'll be a work in progress. Have to wait and see how I get on, figured I have a fair few spare bits from the other car lying around, so might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb!! :thumbup1:probably struggle with it but at least it'll keep me occupied for a bit:thumbup:
