  1. I thought cars registered before 94 were exempt from emission tests??
  2. Double post:oops:
  3. It's tough going, organising anything these days guys, you'll never manage to keep everyone happy and you will always get people dropping out at the last minute. I would go as far as to say that it could be quite stressful. I say let Paul tip away at it, (if he still wants to?). He has put forward ideas, but between interest, funding, family commitments, timing, cars not being ready etc, I can see how it can be hard to bring it all together. Fair play to you Paul for your efforts :thumbup1:. Stick at it mate, I would hopefully like to get to some Club events once the car is up and running  and as I've mentioned before, I could maybe work on an Irish Road Trip / Get Together / BBQ over at my parents place (when they're off cruising)
  4. Looks like the lens has been removed from the headlights:whistling: :innocent::innocent::innocent: I've a feeling he doesn't use it at night:innocent:
  5. More updates from Keith, colour sanding coat now applied :punk:
  6. Veilsides?? I have a guy over here in Ireland, we've become fairly good friends, he hand sanded and hand polished them up, I bought new bolts and hardware for them and he built them up for me:thumbup1: I probably have a full set of build pics if you want?
  7. Quick update, Keith has prepped the car for paint, fitted the rear spoiler and front bumper splitter:clap: Few pics  My caliper decals have arrived also, so I'll be finishing them off after I've had a few hours sleep:thumbup1:
  8. Welcome to the Club mate, lots of help and advice on here for you, enjoy your drive home and keep her between the ditches. We'll want to see some photos :thumbup1:
  9. Nice work Stephen:thumbup1:
  10. Nice bit of work there :thumbup1: nice little shortie also:yes:
  11. Sorry to hear this Dave, I feel for ya buddy, I really do, hopefully you'll be sorted in 3 weeks time, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you pal:thumbup1: Try not to stress yourself out worrying about it though
  12. Unfortunately, I'll be in Holland, was hoping to make it this year
  13. Yup:thumbup: He says he's pulled them out as far as he can, without "major surgery", :innocent: I'm hoping that it's enough as "major surgery" sounds expensive :whistling: - - - Updated - - - Yup:thumbup: He says he's pulled them out as far as he can, without "major surgery", :innocent: I'm hoping that it's enough as "major surgery" sounds expensive :whistling:
  14. Front bumper test fitted after a bit of fettling with the Greddy Intercoolers Wheel arches rolled flat :punk: Passenger inner tidied up
  15. Got an update from Keith today:clap: Wings were a little worse for wear Tidied up Repaired wing:clap:
  16. Been busy for the last week...... Filing Goddamn Powdercoat out of the caliper dust seal grooves!!!:censored::censored: Finally finished them off and managed to remove my fingerprints off my fingers also. Always the way with your own stuff, every other set of calipers were spot on and hassle free, mine are still wrecking my head:thumbdown: Tried fitting the decals and they were either too big or too small Too big Too small Just right Unfortunately for me, I've only got one decal for the "just right" size, so have had to order another 4. It's all good though as worknis starting to progress fairly smartly on things.
  17. Hey Chris, CZP are very good to deal with, like Jaikai says, Z1 has appalling customer service:no: , CZP on the other hand will price match they're products, if you mention it to them. I've one of Aruba Dave's key's that I got from Ian and it's spot on:thumbup:
  18. :happybday: Happy Birthday Bob, have a good one:thumbup1:
  19. Cheers pal, can't remember what mine looks like at present, but I do remember when Advance Tyres put 8 litres of oil in the original engine and blew oil and the engine everywhere:scared::thumbdown:
  20. What you doing with the old one matey?? :innocent::whistling:
  21. So, worked all weekend and my brake guy has come back to me saying that the powder coaters got some around the piston chamber grooves for the dust seals, I should have known when the foam blanks were rock hard and shrivelled up:thumbdown:. Obviously when they re-did the coating they never replaced the blanks and they shrunk more by being heated a second time, dust seals now won't fit:scared: he cleaned one out after about an hour, but he's split one seal test fitting it. I'm now trying to clean them all out with a small jewellers file and have to order another set of seals  Oh the joys of it all:innocent::whistling: On a positive note my brackets and decals came today after being re-assessed by Customs went from €70 down to €18
  22. Happy Birthday buddy :happybday: Hope you get some nice Z goodies!!
  23. So that's roughly 20 pairs of slippers and pipes all round:oops::biggrin: http://www.sitcom.co.uk/foot_grave/images/foot_grave2.jpg
  24. That's not good!!:ohmy:, Feel for ya matey:ohmy::no: Anyone we know??:whistling:
