First ever 300ZX twin turbo jap import
Well you made a great choice for starters:), I would advise a brake fluid refresh along with a full service and cambelt as you have mentioned.

Wiper Arms At Rest
Think mine is more than 10mm, hence doesn't look right...

Washer Reservoirs
The last place I thought the reservoir would be is in the boot area, obvious area to look was the engine bay, anyway really appreciate the input from all members??
-
Washer Reservoirs
Sorry forgot to mention my ZX is SWB so only has the one reservoir up front, which I now realise is the radiator overflow bottle...

Wiper Arms At Rest
Just refurbished my wiper arms in satin black, now re-fitting the arms I would really appreciate if someone could post an image shows where the original rest position is. At the moment they are sitting right on the beginning of the black part of the lower part of the windscreen, but for some reason doesn't seem right?? A few images much appreciated:)

Washer Reservoirs
Thanks for clearing that up, so I was completely wrong!! So the washer reservoir is just the one in the boot area:)

Headlight Removal
Thanks:), now I understand what you mean, I had a look with a torchlight and can see the rear 2 bolts, (one on each side), which need to be slotted, so effectively you could loosen these bolt from the topside if needed in future.

Headlight Removal
Hi, above you mention that its a good idea to slot the rear fixing bolts, is that because the heads can shear easily as they are?

Washer Reservoirs
Spent ages today trying to work out why my washer jets were not working, started by filling the engine bay reservoir, still nothing just the motor buzzing..... Stripped out the N/S/F wheel arch liner, water bottle seemed ok, pipe at bottom nice and tight.... Then found another reservoir in the boot area... filled it up... still nothing but motor buzzing sound.... Then put air line on front washers, air pressure forced out apparent blockages.... front washer jets now working Also can someone confirm is the front reservoir for the rear wiper, and the rear reservoir is for the front wipers??

Auction Watch Japan
Out of interested I calculated that the blue low mileage ZX would land in the UK at just over £10,000, add in transport, MOT and registration fee's so approx. £10,500 OTR...
-
Auction Watch Japan
Sold for 815K JPY, need to add agent fee's in Japan, so approx another 100K JPY, so you can say 915K JPY... which equates to approx £7,000 in Japan, plus shipping and UK taxes... Price was actually less than I was expecting, probably due to the current global coronavirus situation, meaning cars will naturally be making less at auction because afterall as much as we love our cars, there are more serious things going on...

Auction Watch Japan
? Haha, how did I get that one wrong!! it is indeed LWB and not SWB!! the Canadian and US markets are pushing the prices up on most 90's performance Jap stuff, so let's see what this one fetches... goes through on the 25th April

Auction Watch Japan
Here we go... exterior Grade is 4, and does look very very clean, but interior is Grade C, (steering wheel worn), so likely someone who wore a ring done all the driving / mileage...
-
Auction Watch Japan
Well if I didn't have 2 Zed,s already... I would be tempted myself, but would need to be a LWB, hopefully will get some pictures later today...

Auction Watch Japan
Interesting... there is an upcoming SWB TT auto, 93 model, TK3 blue, Auction Grade 4, very clean car with a genuine 23,000 miles... Now... that could/should be a keeper for someone in the UK!!

The cobalt green ZX was a good one, I still remember making you the number plates to resemble Tony more than K70 NYB!!
