Yes I will do, as you know I only recently joined the club after a long time away! I wanted a fresh start, so a new user name was a good start!!

White UK 300 breaking
Well as it happens Jimmer has managed to get hold of one S1 TT injector for me, I will do the upgrade with the JWT adaptor at a later stage for sure, I recently replaced the RPS clutch for a Spec Clutch (Stage 3+), so will be back on the road shortly:)

Who Is America
I saw episode 6 last night, I must be getting old but I found a lot of the twisted humour absolutely disgusting, I ended up forcing myself to watch it almost to prove to myself that I could!! If you haven't seen any of the series you have been warned!!

White UK 300 breaking
Was thinking if you ordered a new / replacement injector from Nissan would they still sell you the S1 style or would they say it's been supersceded by the S2 and you need a new harness to along with it! BTW hope all is well Joel, I see your Zed looks great! Regards Lee:)

Sorry to hear about the bad experience, have you made any decision on the engine / injectors? I would be interested in the injectors if they are the later S2 style

Help identifying function of spare plug / connector
The solenoid looks like this: https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-300zx-prvr-aiv-egr-solenoid-valve-z32-14956-30p00_p_5724.php

Help identifying function of spare plug / connector
Is the solenoid known as the PRVR AIV EGR solenoid?
-
Help identifying function of spare plug / connector
Many of the AIV removal guides say AIV system was fitted on 1990 - 1992 only, so with mine being a 1993 JDM is that just mis-information?
-
Help identifying function of spare plug / connector
Thanks Alic, I have another Zed which I just checked and it has the solenoid and vacuum lines connected! So will get around to doing the delete in the near future!

Help identifying function of spare plug / connector
Thanks:) no solenoid there, just the loom with the connector which was tucked down by the battery clamp, so yes sounds like the aiv system has been deleted, not too sure exactly what the aiv does / advantage of delete

Help identifying function of spare plug / connector
On my Zed there is a single sub loom near the battery area with a square connector similar to an injector connector which has been left unplugged, anyone know the function of this? The sub loom is just to the right of the oil dipstick where it comes off the main loom, and is pretty much in-line with the balance bar if you're looking from the battery side.

Switched injector Voltage
Good info re the ECU self learn, will be doing that too:) BTW do you recall what pin the clock feed is?

Switched injector Voltage
I meant at some point upgrading to the S2 Nismo's, as yes putting S1 Nismo's would just be taking a sideways step and definately not worth the hassle. The worst bit is removing the plenum as so many fiddly bits have to come off, hence why the upgrade will be done at a later stage.

Switched injector Voltage
I plan to change to S2 injectors or Nismo 555's in the future but for now just need to change a single injector and will be doing this mod at the same time. Seems logical that a switched voltage injector can only be a good thing especially on S1 injectors which are known to fail, as one of mine has!

Newbie looking into a Japanese Sports car - Should it be a 300ZX???
The 300ZX is a timeless design which has aged incredibly well, find a good one and you will not regret it:)

Switched injector Voltage
Sorry type error, meant to write constant power feed to the injectors

Switched injector Voltage
Recently have had trouble with a misfire, problem was a combination of gunk in injector connectors and an out of spec S1 TT injector. Anyhow reading up on the S1 injectors found that the contact power feed to them was not a great idea by Nissan and came across this: http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1109134/Switch-injector-voltage-mod-in-1-2-3.html Has anyone done this?
