  1. above didn't work for some reason
  2. Well here's a short video, exhaust sound sounds nice and e8ven:) [video=youtube;ydVxb-TCQfE]
  3. Did anyone see the final bidding on this? I missed it by about half an hour!
  4. As always take a few bidders, must be after the Impul bumper and the low mileage engine, otherwise the price is getting strong!
  5. Has crept upto £1950...
  6. Gaz - on the back of the speedo there are 3 screws which hold the complete fuel guage in place, remove these and then simply remove from the speedo - this method means you do not have to remove the fuel guage needle or the guage face separately.
  7. Pictures of the car or the dremel work?
  8. All done:), car running sweeter than ever, thanks to everyone really appreciate people taking an interest to help / advise me! Also had a good look around the plenum, still has the coolant lines to the throttle bodies and EGR valve pipework so plenum removal would not have been straightforward!
  9. Injector now out!, now have to get the replacement in!, so far pushing down is not working!
  10. Needs to be gold plated at that price!
  11. So... I used a grinding tool like a dremel, and then used a small chisel on the side of the 2 screws and out they came:) I have left the injector to soak overnight as it was hardly moving and didn't want to force it. I'm pleased with my efforts and thanks for the advice guys!
  12. Thanks, I will soldier on and have a go at removing the problem injector first, will give it a good soak and hopefully the screws will open!
  13. Does that Zed have a standard bumper with a lower aftermarket lip?
  14. Not 100% sure what deletes have been done but will have a closer look, i'm just in that awkward position of not having the first hand experience I have done routine jobs like spark plug removal, balance bar removal which isn't too bad, have recently done injector plug removal/clean up but the plenum pull is another step up.
  15. Never done it before, and am reluctant to do so in case it becomes a horrible fiddly job that you get stuck half way through. I have seen a few vids on youtube and there seems so many bolts, clips and lines to remove, so should I leave this job to an experienced hand? Main reason for removal? 1) Have 1 bad injector which I see as a real ballache to remove as the 2 screws that hold it in place have probably been there for 20+ years that will probably end up with stripped heads and without the plenum removed will be impossible to get to! So who's been in the same boat when facing the above? and what would you recommend?
  16. Nice photo:), the 99 spec headlights look good
  17. :) I bought the Zed years ago and have used it as a parts bin and as a mobile garage to store Zed bits in!
  18. Of course, was not looking to sell any parts, was just trying to help 300addict if he got stuck:)
  19. The breaker is a 1990/G non-turbo auto, does your one have a part number on it?
  20. The guy who fitted the wide arches is called Ibrar, he's had a number of nice Supra's over the years, I think the person selling now misses the performance of the TT and wants to get another
  21. C1 R have developed a special clear underseal, looks very impressive.
  22. If you look at the last 4/5 years of MOT history it can give you a clue, especially if corrosion was mentioned at some point. Nowadays there are some excellent rust prevention products out there, just have a look at these guys: http://www.c1-r.co.uk/restoration/
  23. How do you post photo's? Do you need to have them on photobucket or similar?
  24. Great input Simon / Joel, that's the kinda feedback I was looking for, at the moment the loom is holding up, but it's certainly a job that I will be having done next year. For me it makes sense to upgrade to S2 injectors and S2 loom in one go, (I didn't realise the CAS unit would need to be changed as well), and then that would be the end of all the horrible jobs for some time!!
