things i do when i get bored...
thanks for the comments guy's, it does need a little fetlling around the top of the rad but, im going to leave that until i put a vent in the bonnet, then work out a way of making a complete rad duck to channel the hot air up through and out. i dont think it will make a blind difference to the air flow, i just wanted to cover up the "dodgy paint work" as Jimbo so eloquently put it :D

thanks buddy, i know what you mean about all the jobs ;) i've just started to make a fire wall to seperate all the fuel components from the engine. should be interesting :S

things i do when i get bored...
well, i had a sheet of ally lying around so i thought i would make up a slam pannel. thanks to Wendy for the loan of his carbon pannels, i was able to make up a card board template... then draw the shape and cut it out, Topless gave me an idea about covering the top of the rad so, i left the center for such purpose... bending the ally was the trickyest as i dont have a line bender but, with a few carefully chosen lumps of wood and a handfull of G clamps, i managed it... just a little bit of filing and making good and its ready for fitting...

How to disassemble CAS
you have to be very carefull, dont force anything and look for cotter pins to knock out. just take your time and double check every thing. you might want to make sure you have a spare CAS in case of the unthinkable

ams radiator
i aggree with you about the Zcentre fan but, not with electric one's causing issues. never had an issue with my electric fan. it runs for around 5 mins at a time in around 10 t0 15 minute intervals, whilst standing on tick over.

Opinions Please?
difficult one to proove, they could turn round and say you've been riding it, and admit no liability

Knock sensor
Zedx probably means, if you are running an EBC with a chipped ECU then the knock sensor wont kick it into safety boost due to the EBC solinoid controling boost, not the stock actuator solanoids.

ams radiator
the AMS has a much higher build quality than the Koyo. i'm running a Koyo and cant fault the performance but, the bottom drain plug snaped, the top breather bolt stripped and the expantion tank tube broke off. all of which were easy to fix but, never the less. if i were to get another rad, it would be an AMS;)

Help - turbo oil feed return pipes
i think the only way you're going to do it, especially with OE pipes on there, is to cut them off. you could even unbolt the oil return "hard pipe" from the turbo but, then you will need a new gasket.

How to swap Bov's
its a fairly straight forward job. firstly offer up the "hard pipes", as in your dump valve pipes, to the four main hard pipes at the front of your engine to see which ones they replace. replacing is as easy as taking off the jubblie clips and pulling the buggers off. now, on each DV there will be a small vac pipe which needs to be conected to the intake one way or another. the easyest will be to trace back the original recirc vac pipe and find where it connects to the plenum or balance bar then connect the DV vac hose to there instead. as for the OE recircs, some people have left them in place with no probs and others have blanked them. to blank them, just remove the units and pulg or cap the holes they have left in the pipe work. :)

How to swap Bov's
what sort are they? do they have fitting kits for the OE recirc location or hard pipe fittings?
