Got my Mrs one last June. 1.6 on a G plate with fancy a/m front bumper, bucket seats, a/m alloys, lowered, S/S manifold and full exhaust, K&N induction, Chrome roll over bars and complketely resprayed in a blue metallic. It's done about 130k and still drives like a new car. Ok it's not very quick but it is a hell of a lot of fun. I WOULD RECOMEND TO ANY WOMAN! :) Mazda should make something similar, maybe a bit bigger with equivalent power to the ZX... yea they could call it the RX7!!!!

Did the same on GTA Vice city... at least you get you're moneys worth by playing it twice!!!

If i can get all the bits i need to do mine at the right price... I might be able to offer a complete kit (DV x 2, All plumbing to fit including bungs, vacuum hoses,t-pieces and instructions) for around £150.

or if anyone knows off-hand what the inside bore diameter of those pipes are i can find them myself, without me having to hack the pipes first, cause i thing they taper don't they?.

Those are identical to the DV's i have :hyper: So where did you get the insert/collars for the intake pipes from :bow:

did you buy those as a kit for the ZX? or did you make it up and if so what did you do about the stock recircs? sorry to be a pain but i got a couple of DV's just trying to figure out how/what i need to fit them. Cheers guys

I know it's not a Z but has anyone tried this (more conventional) type of DV fittment? Don't see why it wouldn't work albeit a bit tight for space, but atleast they'd be in view.

Second engine shot i've seen this week with a balancer tube fitted across the front of the engine linking the intakes just before the throttle bodies. Is there any benefit to this for us mere mortals or is it just for the BIG BOOST boys?

I had a Megan racing De-cat on my prelude (bought on ebay) Was really impressed by the quality but i had to replace the mid section of my 2.2 with the standard 2.3 exhaust. and even then it wasn't a perfect fit , the flanges had to be moddified.

FD RX7 Actually the Zed was my second choise and given the money I'd swap my zed for one tomorrow. Sorry guys. It's lighter and quicker, uses more fuel and is even more unreliabel than the zed - what more could you want!!! Reliability? Supra then, just a shame they hold thier bloody prices so well.

phew! I already chucked it because the struts are too weak to holt the lid up now. New supra style spoiler weighs less than the old rubber one just need to fit it but it seems to be a shade on the narrow side - hope it's not for a SWB!? Cool, weight reduction. I must be in the 10second 1/4 mile club now!!! :)

On the same subject(ish).. I recently took appart the inside trim of the tailgate to remove the spoiler and found what seems to be a lead weight on rubber mounts bolted to the bottom below the screen. Is this just dead weight to aid with closing?
