There is another way to fool a camera... Infrared is invisible to the naked eye but shows up white on camera (try holding your TV remote at your camera phone) Could wire up some TV remote spec infrared LED's in the letters on your plate, but obviously If you're cought It wasn't my idea :x:

Can't be arsed reading all 7 previous pages, and I do take it a little personally that someone would say something so dumb. I mean after all if you could agree with any of this opinionated pilock's um...err... opinions, then the mass majority would disagree on at least the topic of the Zed's looks: It is simply one of the most stunning and original designs to come out of Japan. But... that was a dumb-ass loaded question for the pencil pushers of that mag to ask in the first place. If you have a publication and you ask any interviewee their least favourite anything, their answer is going to offend a lot of people! Sorry if somebody has already said something to this affect.

I think that looks better/improves the standard bland interior. A stainless steel dial bezil might compliment it (check on ebay £12-ish) I've done exactly that to the last 3 cars I've had. This time I decided to ditch the silver for Vauxhall Graphite Gray. It's quite a bit darker, I'll send you some pics when I get the car back. Love the LED's in the vents :bow:

Right so I have a motorised fold out screen and a seperate DVD/radio headunit. What else do i need and can it be done without a second mortgage?

ah... only i have a 7" floppy fold out screen i was hoping to be able to display something technical on. Building a carputer is just a little out of my mental league. Thanks anyhow :(

I may have got hold of completely the wrong end of the stick, but I was sure I'd seen some sort of electronic device that conects to the ECU loom and then pipes out all the engine sensors readings to a screen via a A/V phono lead. I don't mean the INFORMETER. This was something that didn't have it's own screen. Anyone got any ideas? Been surfing the net for hours :headvswal
