  1. I would try that first... or maybe after making sure all vacuum lines are hooked up. It would atleast eliminate a problem with the AFM. The valve should move in the direction of the vacume line when you come off the throttle if that makes any sense. Hope you manage to sort it.

Prop shaft bearing... without a doubt... Join the club mate... I asked Santa to bring me one and he said: "Do you seriously think i'm gonna spend £141.00 plus vat on you??!!"
  3. I have a JWT chip in mine. Could that be what's causing the lumpy Idle?
  4. DaFox and the Rampant Rabbit.... Sounds like Tooney Tunes
  5. Last year was the Rampant Rabbit, She's used it a couple of times, that's it. She wanted me to use the fekin enormous thing on her but it's too much like trying to park your Zed in a Wendy House (you have to take a long run at it)!!!! This year it's GHD hair straightners. Comes in an identical size box so i'll pretend it's another one and that we're going into Rampant Rabit Breeding :)
  6. The only place it would be is somplace close to the ignition barell as they hook into the ignition loom. trace your cables from the back of the ignition key switch - if you have one you'll find it that way.
  7. I'm thinking something allong the lines of once a month on a sunday(?) could get together at a pub somplace central to the guys in North Wales. Any suggestions?
  8. So there's me in (just outside) Bangor and FASTREDZ in Caernarfon, STEVENMOCHAN in 'Dudno, PETE-FLINT in errr... Flint, MARKZX in Overton-on-dee, SHAUNMAC in Bangor, TIMBOMAX in Llangefni. How about it then? Fancy a gathering of Zeds? Anyone else in North Wales? If so then PM me if you're interested in forming a North Wales Region. I'll see what can be arranged :)
  9. cool!! Are the allowed to use "the stinger" on bikes? Shouldn't think so as it's likely to kill the rider!!!
  10. haha It's a good thing that you're not supposed to pot the que ball!! lol
  11. The traffic fuzz round here really are a bunch of tossers. Got pulled for tints and my Mrs car got pulled up for the same plate problem as above. FFS there are just too many pussy plods opting for the easier life of sitting in a T5 supping coffe and eating sweets over real crime solving. They actually have a game around here called Car-Snooker where they have a score card and have to pull cars by order of colour like the balls in snooker!
  12. Can I come even if i haven't got a mini
  13. Where abouts in North Wales?
  14. Took my Z to the nice guys at Zedworld for the cam and aux belts. Also asked them to look at my non functioning HICAS. 3.5hrs traveling in dawn fog and M6 traffic to get there. Had to spend 6.5hrs wandering around Tamowrth - bored shitless, drank gallons of coffee and smoked loads of fags. Got the car back - Belts we're definately overdue for changin and apparently i have an aftermarket chip :hyper: cool! HICAS light was on cause the PS fluid was low :headvswal embarrasing!!! Weather was even worse on the way home and ended up needing a change of undies after trying to out excellerate a scooby and finding that half throttle in 3rd gives far too much torque in the wet!!! He still couldn't pass me tho :D By the end of the day I'd used £50 fuel, spent £10 on coffee and £375 for the work on the car. The Mrs is just going to have to wait till after Xmas for those Hair straightners :mac1:
  15. Mine's a lot smoother since oil change (nothing fancy just what partco recomended to me) and the 4th gear syncro crunch seems to have cured - cool! Still hard to get 2nd when cold but a lot of cars have this problem - 2 mx5's i've had, Mr2 - only 2nd - weird!
  16. What a load of horse shit!!!! Anyone wanna buy a Bakery sign written Transit previously owned by Katherin Zeta Jones???
  17. Can I borrow a tenner
  18. I saw that post on Kroozing did make me giggle a little (only cos i got busted 2ice for tints in my prelude) - I guess there is no safety in numbers. But just goes to show what a waste of taxpayers money the police actually are. Sorry to hear about your step daughter, man. It's an unwritten rule that a man dont raise a hand to a woman. One of my collegues sons got beaten severly - had to spend a night in casualty. it's been 2 weeks and still no visit from the fuzz, yet his Mrs got caught speeding in the same week by a mobile camera and the ticket came through the door in 3 days!!!!!! :headvswal
  19. I thought the Z's rad cooling fan was a viscous driven one?
  20. My HICAS don't work and the back end floats all over the place even tho it's been lowered and uprated. I don't know if the back-up system is the same, but i did a lot of playing with the 4WS system on my old Honda Prelude. When the 4WS failed, it went into a kind of get-you-home mode that relied on secondary dampers to keep the rear wheels in a "reasonably" strait line. This made the car handle like utter shite! Tramlineing and pulling all over on uneaven surfaces to the extent of being bloody dangerous!! Don't know if HICAS has a similar design but it certainly feels the same to me, which is why I think disabling it should only by done with a by-pass lock bar. Please correct me if i'm wrong!!??
  21. Well i finally managed to get my z on a 2 poster yesterday and it was quite enlightening. I've got fancy shocks :hyper: dunno what brand (either Tein or Cusco i think) but they're height adjustable - via a large nut at the bottom of the spring that threads up the shock from the bottom. They guy who owns the workshop told me that this kind of set-up will nock and there aint nothing I can do to cure it (other than replace it of course). Does that make sense to anyone? The nocking sounds like it's coming from the top of the shocks. I've taken all the trim out of the boot and it doesn't seem to be anything "topside".
  22. pay for them? Buysexual? lol
  23. It's tea time mate... they're busy cooking!!! init!
  24. women are like z's. ton's of really shit ones out there... the good ones are all taken... they look nice but can be a pain in the ass... cost a fekin fortune to keep... bits start to sagg with age... the more done up they are - the less your parents approve (my fave :) )... not easy to get into... turns more heads with the top off... tha faster they go the more stupid your smirk becomes... ... something to do with G's and the G spot...? Maybe this should be the start of a new thread?
