  1. This Z is looking mighty fine [emoji7] Lower charge temps, higher braking power! In the booth, gives you an idea of the finish straight out of the gun:
  2. The part number I listed (F07) appears to be for an S13, it is essentially the same part but the pipework is different. The original part has 2 different manufacturers which are separated by 2 part numbers (you have one of each in your pic). One of them is still available in the UK which maybe cheaper than importing one if you really get stuck. Hopefully your used jobbie will do the business. http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/nissan/nissan-2378140p00-valve-assy-aac/ Have you got a replacement gasket for it? The same part number is compatible with both. http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/nissan/nissan-2378540f00-gskt-aac-valve/
  3. That part number isn't available. There seem to be several part numbers for that valve floating about, would need some clarification of compatibility. http://nissangenuine.com/nissan/nissan-valve-assy-aac-2378140f07/

  5. Yes, treated the Z to a Selin dual MAF intake kit, Tomei 740cc injectors with a JWT adaptor kit and a Wiring Specialties new style injector harness. They'll be going on with a new fuel pressure regulator/damper and an EBC set to 16psi. It will hopefully make a bit of a change from the current 9psi!
  6. Preparation for some long awaited upgrades.
  7. Stop using dashboard shine! http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/car-cleaning-accessories/exterior-cleaning/car-detailer/?549992150&&cc5_761 Always a 30% off voucher for ECP knocking about.
  8. I really want to like the previous post for the great progress you've made with the car... but I can't bring myself to do it for reasons of aesthetic sensibility judgment matrix!!
  9. I am after the later style spring clamps for the fuel hoses in the engine bay if anybody has any spare, I require 10 in total. For reference, they look like this: Regards, Joel.
  10. Does anyone have any lengths or offcuts of genuine Nissan 5/16" rubber fuel hose used in the engine bay for sale? Regards, Joel.
  11. Welcome to the club Jay [emoji41]
  12. How awful [emoji17] I take it there were no injuries? I wonder if it was a fault with one of the cars that started he fire or something in the building.
  13. Erm, Stephen... what are you doing with that young man?...
  14. I actually can't believe what I just read, that did what? [emoji15] To make things easier for future tuning did they recommend you installed a Nistune heart (NHS) or a Link G4 if you have private medical? Very pleased to see things working out Dave, rest easy [emoji41]
  15. Font size: W44mm x H64mm. Font stroke size: 10mm. Font spacing: 10mm. Rear plate size: W340mm x H150mm I don't use the hangars but I have a fair amount of head room above. I didn't want the plate too square as I have the characters all on one line. Not a particularly helpful post is it? [emoji1] Get your tape measure and a piece of card out Nick!
  16. Nice [emoji106] Great to see a pic of your Z too, we don't see enough of it [emoji41]
  17. Loving this [emoji41]
  18. I vink Simon needs to be careful with his fart!
  19. Welcome to the club Fred [emoji41]
  20. One of these should fix your code 13 issue. https://www.z1motorsports.com/wiring-connector-assy-repair/nissan/300zx-coolant-temperature-sensor-aac-valve-repair-harness-p-2814.html Maybe worth asking if anyone is doing an order imminently to add it on. Mike may also be able to supply these, otherwise I'm sure the connector will be common to many other applications and be widely available.
  21. I had the same issue on mine before I replaced the harness. Splicing in a new temp sensor connector cured it but it wasn't a poor connection at the terminals causing the problem, it was the wire breaking down inside where it takes a tight radius into the loom and would intermittently go open circuit from the heat and vibration. Hopefully a new sensor or connector plug will cure your code 13 but you should also investigate the fact that the aux fan isn't switching on when you disconnect that plug. Have you ever heard that fan running since you put the car back together at the front there? The other issues with the smooth running of your car are likely down to the various associated connectors. It's worth cleaning them all up and seeing if there are any changes, you may require new connectors or a new harness if you want to go the whole hog! Jimmer fitted a Wiring Specialties harness to mine and it solved a plethora of hot start idle issues in one hit!
