  1. I know you were a closet polisher at heart Pete [emoji41]
  2. I have one of them. It has adverts for all the traders at the time and lots of handy info inside. I didn't realise this sort of thing wasn't issued anymore, definitely a good idea to produce something similar. I also like the idea from the other discussion to update the membership card design.
  3. Unfortunately this was way past the realms of a toothbrush, I had to use her hairbrush instead!
  4. I never call it that, it was a joke between Jimmer and I when Paul@SWZ practically broke my car for spares and Jimmer took on the job of picking up the pieces and working his magic! Mine is simply referred to as "the Zed".
  5. Today I spruced up my throttle bodies:
  6. Jimmer named mine Chriztine!
  7. Lots of patience, the wife's toothbrush, a fast drying solvent aerosol (like FE10), all purpose cleaner (from the kitchen will do), WD40, a Vikan detailing brush set and even more patience! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371327515265 Remove the undertray and put something under the car to catch the dirty fluid if you're doing it on a nice driveway.
  8. Are you sure it's a switchgear issue? This is commonly caused by a blown fuse; drivers footwell, top row, third one in from the left. It's a 10a fuse.
  9. Factory fresh Gary, liking that. [emoji41]
  10. Thanks Stephen, I'm anally meticulous when I do things on the Zed, pace is uber slow with annoying amounts of thinking and planning ahead! I'd be useless doing it for a living and probably irritate the hell out of anyone working with me!
  11. Another productive few hours in my garage today; I managed to get the plenum installed and the fuel system completed with all new hoses, spring clamps and a filter. The coilpacks and new injector harness is loomed in and just a few loose ends to sort out on the rest of the electrics and pneumatic system before I can hit the road and feel the boost! Tomorrow, I'll hopefully get the chance to get the fuel system pressurised to do the necessary leak checks and continue plugging away.
  12. Luke is still too expensive and then charges too much for shipping on top for smaller items. These guys are proving to be the most reliable and also best priced UK source of genuine Nissan spares at the moment: http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/nissan/nissan-4108040p26-hardware-kit-fr/
  13. I might try a pair myself.
  14. Let us know how they perform Pete.
  15. Sounds good, just need a date [emoji488][emoji489][emoji481]
  16. All is forgiven Andy, hope you're well matey. [emoji106]
  17. I cut slots into the return on mine and folded the "fingers" out so they were flush.
  18. Unfortunately they are part of the window.
  19. Loving the new throttle cable cover!
  20. There's a lot of winking going on here! [emoji6]
  21. No, the connector should be at the top. Looks ok to me.
  22. Unbolt it from the wheel and reposition.
  23. Another thing I've been pondering on is the Z-spec throttle body mechanism covers; I don't think I'm going to refit them. Any thoughts on this? Originally they were a convenient way to cover up a messy mechanism (dirty/corroded), but now I've taken the time to clean it up a little, my opinion on them has changed. I'm not keen on the being black that's for sure as I think they break up the components of the manifold too abruptly from an aesthetic perspective.
