  1. Thanks for sharing Gary, busy year for you so far, lots of exposure. [emoji106]
  2. Im always sceptical when I see these adverts that state the amount spent, but in this case it could possibly be a very good car and a steal at that price. The seller obviously isn't a fan of the rear end judging by the lack of piccies!
  3. For those that aren't on Facebook or didn't see this:
  4. It's in the right hands buddy, welcome back to the fold. [emoji106]
  5. The Nismo 615cc injectors will also work just fine.
  6. Nice work Ali [emoji41]
  7. Do you have a Nistune Gray?
  8. Got a fresh MOT on the car today and then played boost roulette!
  9. Give them a full decontamination, use Tardis and IronX to get everything off. Then use a decent sealant on the wheel, I then top that with Collinite 476s and subsequent cleaning is a breeze. Only needs to be done once every 1 or 2 years and the dirt will fly off!
  10. I know it's not pretty, but it's functional and will be hidden away. For reference, this is what I have done; the TIM gauge is also not particularly attractive, but it's a decent quality, reputable brand and doesn't cost too much. As a bonus, the black line where the band goes from orange to red is 16psi which what my max boost is set to so it's a handy reference for accurately proving the pressures set on the ebc. It's also proven that the stock boost gauge is pretty accurate.
  11. I do agree and that was my thought once I installed them with the silicone hoses, but now the bay is tidier, I think it looks cleaner without.
  12. I do like how nothing phases you Edviss, always getting stuck in, what do you do for a living?
  13. The T bolt clamps had to go! I'm just not digging the aesthetics of them so I dug out my stock jubilees and gave them a polish up. This pic shows stock on the left and the T bolt on the right: Need to sort out the power steering pot next.
  14. It'll be in the glovebox, out of sight, fit and forget.
  15. To be fair, I'm not fussed what it looks like as it'll never been seen! I chose more on the basis of feedback from tuners for a reliable controller.
  16. They can all be replaced without removing the plenum but you'll need a dremel and the right tools to remove the screws without rounding them.
  17. There's something missing in this pic [emoji17]
  18. Gutted I missed this, looks like it was a great turnout [emoji106]
  19. Or do they proudly point towards them, guiding and luring you into an enchantment of captivating mechanical loveliness?
  20. Thanks dude. If you look closely you'll notice that both those clamps (left and right throttle bodies) are pointing to the the right as I couldn't decide whether to point them inwards or outwards! My decision is inwards so I'll have to swap that one over and get my theodolite back out! All the others are out of view as I don't like the look of T bolt clamps but I couldn't position those ones discretely.
  21. I drove mine today and boy does she fly. I'm still @ 9psi so the new SZ 740's map and the Selin are the only upgrades; my feedback this time is that the throttle response is majorly improved. It's possibly all down to the mapping but either way, with this setup when I poke the throttle she really picks up her skirt and runs! This morning I setup the throttle bodies, reinstalled and balanced them, then adjusted the TPS back to 0.44v as it had been removed. I connected the last few bits and bobs (cleaning and restoring as I went) and double checked everything before the big fire up. First start up was positive in the fact that there was no fuel or obvious air leaks but it was a 5 cylinder Z, doh. I had datascan already running and so a quick cylinder drop test proved to me that the coilpack connector has to be pushed fully home in order to be functional! With that minor oversight fixed and hearing it purr nicely up to temperature, I just couldn't resist but take her for a quick shake down test drive. Very happy with the results so far, next task is to setup the Blitz DSBC Spec R boost controller and crank up those GT525's! Doing a boost leak check is now a bit of a pain in the hoop with the Selin setup so for now I'll just have to install the factory T piece every time I do one. I want to get the car down to Jim in the near future for a smoke boost leak test.
  22. Now that is a good sign! ?
  23. Looking great Richie, although Keith needs to work on his photography skills!!
