Quite possibly the fuel pipes under the bonnet around the fuel filter, quite a common issue. Go round and nip up all the clamps and see if its fixes it...

The rear brakes don't work as hard as the front so they will be ok. Obviously the company you paid for the 4000's should reimburse you the difference.

An I right in thinking that the collars just take up the gap between the bush and the body to eliminate the slack? So it doesn't actually make the bushes solid so wouldn't be any harsher than stock anyway?...
