Rear subframe bushes...
I'm dropping my rear subframe and have been considering replacing the bushes, I've done a search and it seems the general consensus is that they are a nightmare to replace. What makes the job such a pita and does anyone have any advice to make it easier? Also, various old threads suggest several different options of bushes that need spacers, some the just fit no probs. What are your experiences with different types of these as far as the final product is concerned? I'd rather not fit solid ones or spacers but any advice welcomed. CheerZ

Japspeed downpipe fitting problem
I had exactly the same issue, although it was the pax side on mine. The exhaust hangar would knock up against the bulkhead as you describe. I cut off the hangar and moved it back slightly. That side exhaust (mongoose), when you view down over the bumper sits noticeably further back, which it didn't before I decatted (I already had the exhaudt and only bought the decats) so I just put it down to cheap products!

Rear subframe assembly removal (and turbo NA compatibility)
Do you have to remove the prop at the centre bearing to get it out the way or is that just for convenience? The book just says disconnect at the diff...

- HELP please.... can´t find these rims...
I have 19x9.5 ET25 on the back of mine and its a squeeze! I had to swap the 265 for 255 and it needs a bit of camber to get it in. So the answer is yes, you could get them to fit, but you will need arch work and possibly different tyres. The black zed on the website has 10.5 et22 on the back!- HELP please.... can´t find these rims...
The pics you see on google are most likely from the states. A popular wheel manufacturer over there is called Varrstoen, these are possibly the wheels you see on google if they're replicas. Be aware though that the offsets available for the rear are quite aggressive. Very good prices and European distributors... http://www.varrstoen.eu/products_es_11.php- next steps in tuning
Favouritism! I'm subscribed, I've paid my way for the last 8 years and I haven't had a pm from Brian... Right that's it, I'm not re-subscribing ever again and I'm setting up a rival club! http://www.rival.300zx.co.uk.club.co.uk Mind if I advertise it here?- CZP Polished Rad Bracket Swap...
This is not a for sale thread and not quite a wanted thread! I have a CZP rad bracket (the one with holes in from the pic above) that I have just removed to fit the CZP oem style brackets for my Koyo. However, I like the way the 1piece bracket covers the top of the rad and the front of the core so I might fit it back on. Here's the thing though, I'm not a big fan of bling, I prefer a functional stock looking arrangement so will probably paint or brush the bracket before I fit it. I'd rather do this to one without the holes so this thread is to see if anyone wants to swap their bracket for this one? (any brand assuming its similar to the pic above without holes)- Re-newed

Araldite!- Ipad app?
Yes it will be forum runner. I use it and makes browsing on my phone much easier then having to keep pinching/resizing etc. Not sure it'll be worth it on an iPad though?- A silly question iv always pondered on...
Doh!- Rolling road at powerstation tewksbury
Nothing, I just remember you mentioning it in various threads. Stuart was asking how it was getting on the other day, it's a lovely zx :-)- Rolling road at powerstation tewksbury
You bought silver streak? Haha I always thought that it was a friend of yours that you were making enquiries for about it :-/- tt 300zx whats it worth import low miles few mods
With the little info you're giving, based on myself buying a 300 with no exhaust or clutch would mean I couldn't test drive it so I'd not buy it. But if you're after a project, a car that doesn't drive in good nick £600-700 if it has some decent toys.- wheel spacer argument, opinions please...
I agree, negligible difference on an already long life component. It will put extra leverage on the load path to the bearing, yes it is the same as putting a low or negative offset wheel on.- wheel spacer argument, opinions please...
I would suggest going for the H&R Trak+ spacers so you know the machining is good quality and low tolerance. Otherwise you could risk vibration caused by the spacers. http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?a=i&p=142HR3065662&part=Nissan-300ZX-Type-Z32-H-R-Trak-Wheel-Spacers http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?a=i&p=185HR5065662&part=Nissan-300ZX-Type-Z32-H-R-Trak-Wheel-Spacers No idea if they're the best price available, it was just a quick google for the product I was suggesting :-)- wheel spacer argument, opinions please...
They don't need to be steel. They will cause an increased load on the wheel bearings over a stock offset but not enough to cause any issues other than increased wear on the bearings (unless the spacers are 100ft long!)- carbon fibre headlights are they any good?
