May be going to look at a zed. Need opinions please :-)
Regardless of UK or jspec you should still carry out a comprehensive inspection of the same key points, including rust. Genuinely mileage on that one will be hit and miss being an import so could be considerably more than advertised. The only downside I see of the second one is that its a series 1 whereas the UK is a series 2...

It's a good price assuming the associated gremlins aren't present. I would be having a very good look underneath and paying particular attention to the targa drains and the sills. I would also lift the boot carpet and remove the tool trays etc to make sure the boot floor hasn't fallen victim to a leaky rear screen. It's a TT auto in UK guise, I used to own one of these but gave in to the lust of a manual, this can be relatively easily rectified with a conversion though. I sold mine due to rust and smokey tubs. I would consider a thorough health check of the engine as its getting to the mileage where it could potentially require an expensive overhaul or costly components replacing. I would also recommend allowing the car to idle for 10mins once up to temp and make sure it doesn't start smoking from either exhaust. The exhaust looks oem, if its the original pipes that is a very good sign of a weekend summer toy as I would have expected a daily drive or more all weather cars exhaust to have rusted requiring expenditure. Obviously follow all the standard inspections when buying a new car, try and assess whether it has had any knocks and bumps (removing the bits in the boot also reveals any misshaped panels pointing to a rear end shunt and possible alignment issues) but other than that I'd say they are the key things to look out for that could catch you out. Use the price as a base and add up in your head what the likely extra costings would be, based on the defects you find. £1600 could easily be doubled if these problems start to arise. Air on the side of caution...

You using that kakimoto single exit I sold you a few years back Brian? That was an amazing sound, I sacrificed that awesomeness all in the name of quad exits... Form over function, doh!

Indeed thanks for the pic matey. I think it makes it look a bit too busy when accompanied with the diffuser but I'll try them and see...- What did you do to your zed today?
You mean 'another set'? ;)- What did you do to your zed today?
I agree, the jdm ones were one of the first things I removed. I will fit the rears but whether they stay depends on how they look next to my 'gamble of a' twinz diffuser!- What did you do to your zed today?

Judging by the sale ad of your wheels, your rears are et30, which will be close with that width/tyre. If its close have you tried pulling it in with the camber adjustment on the rear upper arms? - What did you do to your zed today?
