  1. Happy days buddy, look forward to pics.
  2. More the merrier buddy, will be great to meet you :) Haha, lock Sam away!
  3. If I quote these tags will it recount as tags and tag the tagees again?
  4. Alright for some eh, one minute tearing up uk roads in an Aston Martin and the next sunning it up on a desert island!
  5. What time are you arriving? I never cancelled the area we had reserved due to having a rather small memory bank! So we may aswell use it with our random array of anti zed mobiles, as you go into the car park, drive to the right and there's a gate leading round the back, nip though there for our parking area :) if we could've rounded up a load of zeds aswell it would be an ideal gathering location :)
  6. Datascan also shows you this...
  7. That one has my name on it...
  8. I cancelled the leave I had booked for jae weekend :-(
  9. I think you have seen the one he may have read, I also think you posted on it! I started the thread wondering why my jdm seats were higher than my uk seats... It was a fairly long thread lol!
  10. I use the standard Nissan hoses although the long straight parts of the 'L' section that runs down the side and along the bottom of the rad, I have replaced with stainless tubing as these seemed to be the weak points when up to temp.
  11. I clocked mine when I installed my UK clocks so that the mileage accurately reflected the mileage that it had been clocked to when leaving Japan.
  12. Hmmm, my zed will almost certainly not be serviceable for this meet so ill be in the daily drive. However, with Rolandas out and possible other poorly zeds being left at home, it means that tomomontana is currently the only confirmed zed attending and cyberbean joining later on. I'm more than happy to attend if everyone else is still up for a social but I feel I should cancel the grounds booked round the back and we park in the public car park. Hopefully they won't hold it against us if we want to give it another shot sometime :-/
  13. I remember that meet too, was that the one when Jimmer decided to paint black circles in Surrey rolling roads car park?
  14. By the way... http://www.irishtimes.com/news/ireland/irish-news/ryanair-pilot-sacked-over-role-in-documentary-1.1494930
  15. Agreed, they should both have their stripes taken away and have to retrain, what a bizarre thing to do? I'm not 100% sure what happened to the flight crew involved in that. As for the CVR bring erased, that's a little bit of artistic journalism; the CVR on a 737NG only records the last 30mins and is continuously overwriting itself, as soon as the captain was given clearance by ATC to start his engines on pushback it was already being erased. By the time the investigation was in full swing, the CVR would have been long erased. I'm not sure on the procedure for grounding an aeroplane after an incident in order to do a CVR download or swap it out. I can't argue with that!
  16. Crikey, your bro has made 7 posts in 9 years! 1 of them was just made from you
  17. I think it works as long as he's driving round a roundabout in the UK, but if he drives round a roundabout on the continent or turns left to enter little chef, he will receive a temporary ban.
  18. Yes. There is an erase button in the flight deck if the captain feels the need to press it, although he'd be looking for another job and possibly lose his licence I would've thought. The CVR data wouldn't be particularly helpful in these cases, its the flight data recorder (FDR) they would look at to analyse fuel loads etc. The flight crews are all trained on how much fuel to carry depending on several different factors and they ultimately decide whether they take more (or less). The pilots involved in the 3 RYR fuel maydays that day were all acquitted, otherwise it would be them taking the wrath and be dismissed.
  19. The LAN aircraft that lost an engine lost it from fuel starvation, it was also a fuel emergency.
