  1. I think the common failure of the ptu is heat damage to the solders making them fail?... I guess the added heat for the majority stateside made them prone to failure earlier than the UK and JDM variants. I'm pretty sure later models were fitted with them though (later than the last UK production run).
  2. I work in Kaunas fairly regularly and fly to Vilnius a fair bit...
  3. Mines touch and go for serviceability too lol!
  4. Whereabouts will you be going again? I might see you there ;)
  5. Welcome to tomorrow! :) How does it feel?
  6. Does it work with forum runner on a mobile?

  8. Yeah so, if you were to give up your Z for another car, what would it be and how much would it cost? In my first post mine is shown as a 911 turbo at £40-45k (I guess I'll be keeping it for a while!)
  9. If I was to ever chop the Z in for another car, the cheapest car i would consider presently would be a 911 turbo, specifically a 997. Nothing really floats my boat up to that price bracket that I would consider worthwhile selling up for. Currently a good 911 (997) turbo is around 45-50k and I'd like to see 5k back for the Z so my current figure of how much it would cost for me to sell the Z is £40-45,000! Although, I would possibly keep the Z for a while just to be sure I'd made the right move.
  10. That's incorrect, the series 2's started late '92. Dicky, have you checked the date on the seat belt labels?
  11. That short sport ur Quattro is sexual!
  12. Anymore takers?...
  13. The shipping for us to buy a loom individually outside this group buy from WS works out at $60 which is just shy of £40, can you ask if they will discount shipping (maybe $50) to individual addresses as I would rather have it delivered direct rather than pay 20 to you then uk postage costs. Insured shipping of a £300 package for £10-15 is a bit unrealistic IMO, but even so, to eliminate risk and save you a job, direct shipping is the way forward.
  14. So we're looking at around £280 + £20 shipping + import duty etc (£50-60?). £350 for 5...
  15. Sorry dudes I'm working...
  16. Might be worth enquiring postage costs to 1 address and individual addresses as UK postal costs with insurance are a bit steep. Personally I think I'd rather have it shipped directly to myself... Get with it lads, every man and his dog have later ptu's!
