  1. Baz and Mark Derby will have this on their radar waiting to pounce no doubt!
  2. Hi chaps, Has anyone got a Wiring Specialities RHD engine harness either fitted or not fitted, I'm after a small favour/little help please. In fact a LHD one may be just as helpful if that's what you have, thanks. Joel.
  3. Thanks chaps [emoji4] Nice sunny day for it too [emoji482][emoji481]
  4. Hmm, interesting times Noel. Is this a new thing for the VG30 or is this just the UK playing catch up?
  5. The LHD version fits fine if need be. Plenty of people have LHD looms fitted to RHD cars over here.
  6. Thats a LHD loom, you need the "fairlady Z" harness which is the JDM (RHD): http://www.wiringspecialties.com/wsprvgtofaze.html They're seemingly good quality products, Jimmer installed one on mine at the weekend and it runs like a dream now! How long it lasts remains to be seen.
  7. Fitted a replacement PAS pot as mine was looking a little tatty. I was worried that it would look a bit too bling and had the intention of powder coating my removed pot satin black but I actually don't mind it. It's powder coated aluminium silver so isn't too bling! I also fitted some Z1 black silicon intake hoses which I recovered in the OEM heat insulation foam:
  8. Welcome to the club matey. That's a lovely looking MR2 you have there, the Azev wheels look great on it. Prices for the 300zx seem to be on the up and decent cars are becoming increasingly hard to find. £4k should hopefully still be a good sum to get you a nice clean car. All you need is to sit patiently scouring the classifieds; on here, pistonheads, ebay, gumtree and any other place where one might pop up for sale. With regards to your N/A to TT conversion, my advise is don't bother, buy a TT from the off or you'll be facing big bills. Choose carefully and ideally take a knowledgable enthusiast with you to view potential cars to buy, plenty of folk on here will give up there time to help a fellow member purchase a car. Don't restrict yourself to a particular gearbox, a manual conversion is a relative inexpensive mod if you find a decent auto base model. I would also remove your desire to get a black one and be more open minded to buy the best you can find for your budget, regardless of colour. Subscribing on here to become a full member will be a great start to your search and subsequent ownership of a Z32, you'll find a wealth of knowledge and information on tap so you've come to the right place.
  9. Shouldn't that be spelt craic?
  10. Enjoy your holiday Graham, stay safe!

  12. The tension rods allow you to adjust caster which could be affected when other parameters are changed. It's still a valid question though, I would be interested to hear from people with suspension setups that specifically do and don't require caster adjustment to learn at what stage it becomes a necessity.
  13. Simon has KYB AGX adjustable shocks with Tein S Tech springs. He has powertrix adjustable arms which he is currently in the process of removing due to the rose jointed solid mounts. I would also recommend the MeisterR coilovers Chris and you're more than welcome to have a go in mine if you want to check out the ride before you commit.
  14. Lol yeah, don't get your hand caught in that door spike!
  15. Early start this morning with a nice (sunny) trip across the country to PowerZed for Jimmer to work some magic. With the usual top class service and wealth of experience, it's in good hands :)
  16. It can be done, it's a fairly big job though, certainly not plug and play. Jaikai has done a 'how-to' for this job: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=151390
  17. That's a very big arse, but it looks great!
  18. It goes without saying that the front bumper needs to be removed in the most violent means necessary to ensure it is unidentifiable. Other than that, assuming the "welding" has been done thoroughly and to a good standard, this would be worth a look. I've seen many two tone zeds looking nice.
  19. Happy birthday Mick :)
  20. Happy Birthday Andrew [emoji106]
